Great cocktail bar.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Nice and clean.
A few cool quirky touches.
A bit spartan and basic for the money but maybe that’s just the nature of booking in Zurich in peak season.
No breakfast but enjoyed the bar scene and movie atmosphere. Stimulating decor of the film industry history

MİNİ BAR YOPKTU ODALARDA
We were disappointed with our stay at the Ruby Mimi in Zürich. We were traveling as a party of three and booked two rooms—a Comfort Room and a WOW Room. The rooms were nearly identical, with the WOW Room offering only slightly more space between the foot of the bed and the wall.
The hotel’s Hollywood/movie theme is fun and makes a great first impression, but the room design prioritizes style over practicality. We didn’t mind the small size, but the glass-enclosed shower and toilet are essentially part of the bedroom, separated only by a curtain for privacy. The shower design is awkward—you can’t step onto the bathmat after showering because opening the shower door pushes it out of the way.
Check-in is electronic, but it was not seamless. The kiosk repeatedly asked for my passport information until a staff member came over to help. There are also no telephones in the rooms, so any request requires a trip downstairs to reception.
The room was clean, but it had only one bath towel and one hand towel, with no washcloths. There was also no coffee maker or other in-room amenities. Instead, guests must walk down the hall for instant coffee, which was weak and watery. Fortunately, there’s a COOP grocery store just around the corner with much better coffee.
One frustration was the lighting controls. Both rooms had the same problem—we simply could not figure out how to turn the lights off at bedtime, despite trying every switch. We ended up sleeping with the lights on all night because we were too tired to get dressed and go downstairs for help.
There were several positives. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Zürich’s main train station and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The rooms, while small, include plenty of shelves and ledges for storage. The air conditioning worked well, the beds were very comfortable, and there were power outlets on both sides of the bed. The housekeeping staff was also exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Was für ein unschoenes zimmer.. nicht einmal eine Flasche Wasser im Zimmer.. unverschämt teuer für zu wenig Leistung
אין מזגן בחדר והיה חם מאוד נתנו לנו להשתמש במאוורר.
Muito boa localizacao
في وسط المدينة القديمة
المكيف حار كان ، يوجد نمل في الغرفه
Location is ok, but this was the only positive.
Tiny run down rooms, poor bed - terrible overall guest experience and a really bad nights sleep.
Everything was amazing. Especially location.
Nit applicable.
Great location and excellent service. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hotel is very close to train station and well positioned to visit historic sites in Zurich.
