Heerlijk verblijf met ruime kamers, top locatie vlak bij het strand en super gastvrije eigenaar
Pros:

Ik heb een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad bij Hotel Fijn! De locatie is perfect: om de hoek van het strand en de straat met gezellige restaurantjes en barretjes. De kamers zijn ruim en voorzien van zitjes, airco en een ventilator. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de eigenaar verdient een speciale vermelding: ontzettend gastvrij en altijd bereid om met alles te helpen of mee te denken. Ik voelde me hier enorm welkom en goed verzorgd. Bovendien is de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding uitstekend, wat het verblijf nog aantrekkelijker maakt. Echt een aanrader voor iedereen die een ontspannen en prettig verblijf zoekt!

Struttura molto bella con una vista sull'oceano spettacolare. Camere spaziose e pulite. Il personale disponibile e gentile.

Cons:

La costa di fronte alla spiaggia è rocciosa, ma basta spostarsi 10 minuti a piedi e si raggiunge una bella spiaggetta di sabbia dove si può entrare in acqua con facilità.

Pros:

Rifai ist wirklich ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber. Nach einer furchtbaren ersten Nacht dort (siehe unten) habe ich ein besseres (aus meiner Sicht für den Preis auch angemessenes) Zimmer I'm großen Haus bekommen.
Das Wasser wird zu einem fairen Preis verkauft, Internet war nicht immer gut, aber er hat sich sofort darum gekümmert. Auch die Vermittlung für eine Safari lief kurzfristig prima über ihn. Die Lage ist etwas abseits, aber das gefiel mir gut, denn man ist trotzdem schnell im Troubel und ich war dankbar um mehr Ruhe.

Cons:

Das erste, gebuchte Zimmer im EG ging wirklich gar nicht. Beim offenen Badezimmerfenster ohne Mückengitter war bei Licht natürlich alles voller Mücken und das Moskitonetz war löchrig.
In beiden Räumen gab es nur ein Mini Hamam Tuch zum Zudecken, selbst bei Wärme wäre ein vernünftiges Laken angebracht. Die Matratzen sind sehr dünn, für Rückenschmerzen nicht geeignet.
Leider hat auch alles an Wäsche unangenehm gerochen, das konnte man leicht verbessern.
Für 20€ pro Nacht hatte ich in sri Lanka definitiv bessere Unterkünfte, aber für 3 Nächte war es ok.

Pros:

- localisation idéal à 2 pas de la mer d’un côté et à 2 pas de la rue principale de l’autre
- personnel sympathique et serviable

Cons:

- chambres manquent d’équipements pour le prix (pas de bouilloire, pas de bouteille d’eau offerte, pas de mobilité dans les chambres pour poser des affaires, pas de gel douche…)

Great stay.
Pros:

We had an excellent stay at Nice Place! The owner runs the place in a very professional and competent manner; all that is needed for a great stay is present: the guest is left just to enjoy what Arugam Bay has to offer. The hotel and the rooms are clean, specially compared to other properties in Sri Lanka and the beach is 1 minute walk from the room door.

Heerlijke schone kamers op een rustige plek vlak bij het strand en net buiten de drukte/gezelligheid maar alles binn
Pros:

Heerlijk rustige plek op nog geen 50 meter van het strand èn de gezellige doorgaande weg met alle restaurants en barretjes. De kamers waren schoon en prettig. Heerlijke luie stoelen voor de kamers en prima ontbijt. De eigenaar had snel door dat onze kinderen van watermeloen hielden dus de keren daarna was er extra watermeloen. Ook zijn er flessen (gekoeld) water te koop voor supermarktprijzen.

Pros:

Udany pobyt, wygodne pokoje. Super lokalizacja bardzo blisko plaży. Dobrze się czuliśmy w tym miejscu, zaopiekowani przez właściciela.

Cons:

Brak ciepłej wody pod prysznicem. Śniadania były smaczne ale codziennie to samo (zero urozmaicenia).

Struttura situata a due passi dalla spiaggia, posizione molto comoda. Non abbiamo provato la colazione.

Cons:

Peccato per il proprietario con il quale avevamo specificato di volere una stanza con due letti e ci ha presentato una stanza con un letto matrimoniale, dicendoci che non potevamo cambiarla.
Acqua calda inesistente, bagno fatiscente.

Cons:

Leider gab es Probleme mit Booking, weil wir von 2 Nächten auf eine Nacht umbuchen wollten und das online nicht funktioniert hat… dann mussten wir trotzdem mehr als für nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft zahlen. Das war sehr ärgerlich

Sehr saubere Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und Warmwasser. Super netter Hotelmanager, der für Fragen immer zur Verfügung stand und uns einen günstigen Weitertransport nach Ella organisiert hat. Lage gut, wenige Gehminuten zu den meisten Cafes und Restaurants.
