Wild Safari Clay House

Feels really natural and the food was amazing that they made for us and we recieved a beautiful gift from the mother, it was a great surprise!

We stayed for 1 night and had the most amazing dinner here. Fried rice and Rice&Curry we definitely recommend. We also booked the Safari through them and it was amazing!! Our Guide was super friendly and we saw everything we hoped to see 🐘 The location was also really nice and calm. :)

Super fijn verblijf! We hebben een geweldige safari dag gehad. Het huisje is top. Fijne bedden. Klamboe, airco en ventilator zijn aanwezig. De beste douche die wij tot nu toe in Sri Lanka hebben gehad. Het ontbijt en diner waren heerlijk! We raden dan ook iedereen aan om een bezoekje te brengen aan Wild Safari Clay House!

Vi blev väl omhändertagna och ägaren ordnade en 12-timmars safaritur som var grymt bra. Vi valde att äta middagarna på plats och blev serverade riktigt bra rice and curry och fried rice. När det var dags att åka vidare ordnade ägaren med billig transport. Inget att klaga på alls.

Amazing stay. If you Wanna spend a nice quite evening in nature this Is the Place! The host Is fantastico and Dinner Is also Special.

I travelled around Sri Lanka for a month, so I have plenty to compare with, and this was my last and the best accommodation, which really changed my view of this country. The host is incredibly kind, communication with him was great, and he speaks good English, so it’s easy to arrange anything with him. He helps with anything you need and prepared an excellent dinner for me (the best curry I had during the whole month). I also received a delicious welcome drink.

The accommodation is in a beautiful and quiet location, with a great seating area in front of the house. The WiFi is strong and reliable, which is quite rare here. There is a kettle and cups in the room, so you can make tea or coffee, which is also provided. The bathroom has a hairdryer (a big plus!). The water runs hot with strong pressure. The bed is very comfortable, with a mosquito net, and there is also an insect repellent plug-in available. There is both AC and a fan, and the room is very dark and quiet at night, so it’s perfect for sleeping. It’s also great to have a socket and a bedside table next to the bed. Everything is clean and well maintained.

It’s the small details that make the stay really special. The price-to-quality ratio is unbeatable!

It was a beautiful place, quite quiet but very modest and everything you need, comfortable bed with mosquito net, pillows and sheet, desk with wobbly bench, kettle, tea, coffee, mugs, towels, hangers, laundry horse, warm shower, toilet roll, bins. We relaxed on the outside chairs and had a really nice breakfast of brown sugar coconut rotis and fruit, an amazing dinner of curry with vegetables and fruit for dessert and got greeted by a refreshing welcome juice when we arrived. The owner himself is very quiet and keeps to himself mostly but answers quickly to your requests and is a nice person, even got up at 5:30 to give us breakfast to take to our safari.

The accommodation was very beautiful and cozy. We also had dinner prepared by the host, which was delicious and for a good price. Moreover, we had a safari tour with the host as well. The host was highly educated about all the animals living in the national park and behave in a considerate way towards them.

Große Empfehlung! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist Wahnsinn: großzügiges Zimmer, funktionierende Klimaanlage, warme Dusche, leckeres Frühstück für wenig Geld. Hier freut sich der Geldbeutel bei einer längeren Reise durch Sri Lanka. Gegen geringen Aufpreis haben wir dort auch zu Abend gegessen. Wir haben noch vor Ankunft eine Safari über die Unterkunft gebucht und hatten ein wahnsinnig tolles Erlebnis im Udawalawe-Nationalpark.

Naprosto dokonalé ubytování - skvělý a voňavý příbytek, naprosto úžasní a vstřícní hostitelé. Doopravdy nejlepší ubytování ve kterém jsme kdy byli! Doporučuji si taktéž vzít i Safari od ubytování, jelikož bylo naprosto skvělé a určitě nelitujeme této volby

Las cabañas son amplias, limpias y muy acogedoras. Con aire acondicionado, agua y un gran baño con agua caliente. Camas muy cómodas.
El desayuno delicioso y el responsable se preocupó en todo momento por ayudar y gestionar varias cuestiones: safari, taxi, etc

The staff were extremely attentive and friendly! The safari was so easy to book through the hosts and the safari itself was amazing! Not only did we see 7 different types of amazing animals with a very lovely and knowledgeable guide but we also had a delicious breakfast included with a cup of tea over looking one of the many lakes in the National park itself. It was all we could have hoped for and more! As we did the 4 hours safari it meant to had a chance to go and see the elephants transit station in the afternoon which is only a 10 minute tuktuk ride away from the property! There were so many amazing aspects of this place but one of the best were the delicious home cooked meals from the hosts. I could not recommended Wild Safari Clay house enough! One of the best places I have ever stayed!

we absolutly loved it, the clayhouse is clean and cosy, we had an amazing safari experience, the owner was very kind and we had fantastic breakfast and dinner!
