Pros:

This was a stay for my mother-in-law who needed a last minute stay after coming from the hospital. The staff was amazing as they realized that she could not use a room that needed stairs to access. They gave her a room that was accessible to her. Thank you Calabash for your kind care for our mama.

Adequate for the location, but expensive for the offer
Pros:

1. Free Parking available

Cons:

1. Mosquito net that fits the bed
2. Aircon - had a fan in the room but it was high up in the wall and once the net was down it was ineffective
3. TV Channel Variety - there was no content on the available single channel, just DsTV advert on loop

Adequate stay on a short distance from the border with Tanzania
Pros:

The staff was very friendly.
We just needed a place to stay before going to Tanzania and it was an adequate stay for that. The receptionist arranged a taxi to the border. The friendly driver helped us to find a taxi!

Cons:

The hotel is a bit dark with long corridors and a bit outdated, however they are currently doing renovations, so it will probably be updated.

Perfect and comfortable stayover
Pros:

Quiet location near to the town.
Nice breakfast buffet and a wide range of food for lunch or dinner. Restaurant is open till late. Very welcoming staff and caring management.
Secure parking and security.
Perfect stopover on your way.
Every time again.

Cons:

Some cracking tiles on the balcony so you feel a bit unsafe.
But as the hotel is just under renovation this will be sorted hopefully.

It was my first visit, and Calabash hotel made my stay, easy and comfortable, food and beddings 👌
Pros:

My best experience was my interaction with the employees, their service was exceptional. The patience and understanding is just on another level. I will come again.

Cons:

Do I have anything to complain about!! Nooo.
