Hotiday Room Collection - Firenze Ghibellina

Room was bare. The photos were completely different than what the room actually was. It was more like a dormitory than a hotel room.

The room was kind a noise, since it is on the ground floor right of the street sidewalk.
We could hear all the vehicles passing by and people talking on the outside

Wifi not working, signal also very low

This room is not inside the hotel, we are not even sure if it the same hotel. The connection of wifi is horrible, there’s barely no signal in the room, if you want to use wifi, you have to go on the street. And it will have a lot of noise in the night. If you need a high quality sleep, i will not suggest you to come.

The noise. The room, on the ground floor next to a busy road, is not noise insulated whatsoever.

Me and my family caught some (little) very interrupted sleep between 2am and 6am. Before and after those times the cars and revellers might as well be in the room. I have stayed in the centre of many towns and cities, but this was unbearable. This place is not suitable as accommodation.

Writing this at 6:38am while still in the room. I am so tired.

Room was outside hotel next door and smelt very strongly of disinfectant. Shower was awful and needed replacing

I was expecting something totally different to be honest and the description / pictures were completely deceptive in my views. Let me be clear that I would go back there because value for money combined with location was absolutely great, and overall the room was clean and comfortable.

Let me also be clear that this is not an hotel, but more an airbnb whose check in / check out is processed by the adjacent hotel. And the picture on booking are those of the adjacent hotel!!!

The room is clean, but very poorly soundproofed… it is in the middle of Firenze city center and movida center as well and during the night we have been woken up multiple times by drunk people shouting outside… and consider that there were no windows in the room…

Having said this, it was a cozy stay and location made up for everything, I would recommend it but was also worth explaining my experience

The shower door was temperamental but it didn't detract from the hot, powerful shower and excellent amenities.

We booked this property because of 4**** rating and nice picture. The room was not a real hotel room. It was a space outside the hotel, without windows and bad isolation. You have an impression sleeping outside, not isolated at all. Almost didn’t sleep during the stay. This property should be reviewed by booking as it’s doesn’t correspond to the description at all!! To avoid!

The ‘hotel’ was extremely loud, as if you’re sleeping right on the street with cars blasting past as there is 0 sound insulation whatsoever. Also, this apartment pretends to be part of a 4* hotel (pictures used for the lobby and amenities) when really it just borrows their concierge and provides you access to their facilities for a fee. It is located OUTSIDE the hotel a couple doors down with an entrance right on the main road. On top of that, this can’t even be classified as a legal room as there are no windows. Please do yourself a favor and book to stay at Borghese Palace Art Hotel instead, that is the real hotel that this apartment pretends to be. Had to argue with the management for over 4 hours and waste half of a day in Florence to cancel our accommodations after seeing it.

The rooms are in a reserved area accessible by a secondary entrance and without a house number, but still there was no problem because you can enter the main entrance and the two entrances are connected.
