A comfortable, clean, and satisfying stay with great service and food — overall a 5-star experience
Pros:

We loved the spacious (Don't expect a huge room, remember you are in Mumbai), This room was good spacious enough, well-maintained room with the comfortable separate single bed option. The mattress, pillows, and linens were clean and fresh, and the entire room was spotless — no mosquitoes, no damp smell, no bedbugs, and no dust.

The AC worked perfectly, lighting was well-balanced, and there were enough plug points and a proper work desk setup. The wardrobe space and in-room safe were convenient additions.

The bathroom was clean with good water pressure, hot water facility, fresh towels, and neatly arranged toiletries. Everything felt hygienic and well-managed.

Room service and housekeeping were prompt and helpful. Overall, the room had everything essential for a comfortable stay — clean space, good sleep, proper amenities, and a welcoming feel.

Cons:

What didn’t we like?

There were 1–2 cockroaches spotted here and there, but honestly, it wasn’t a major issue and did not disturb our stay. Minor switch and charging socket issues were there, but the pin fitting problem was more related to our chargers than the hotel itself.

Also, if you’re a pure tea lover, note that the hotel mostly serves Masala Tea. We personally prefer stronger, classic chai — so we stepped out and enjoyed amazing chai at Irani Cafe, and a taxi driver even recommended looking for “Nagori Chai” stalls, which are apparently the best!

Other than these very small points, there is absolutely nothing to complain about at Ginger Andheri East. These are minor things that can easily be ignored and did not affect our overall positive experience.

Bad place prefer to avoid , really bad staff and service is non existent ! They act as if they are doing charity for us

I had booked a room for two days. The room I was offered on 2 nd floor had moisture on the walls, worn out furniture, discoloured kettle, when complained they changed the room to 5 th floor.The corridor of this floor was smelling awful with uncleared garbage, worn our carpets in corridors, room was same as the earlier one. When complained to the Manager I was finally offered slightly a better room. I am totally disappointed with condition of the hotel , it is actually not even worth a 2 star.
