Pros:

Mocht je ooit behoefte hebben om een nachtje in het paradijs te slapen, dan moet je hier boeken. Zorg dat je iets meer geld neerlegt voor de villa en je kijkt vanuit je woonkamer uit op het mooiste park van CR. Je krijgt een heerlijk ontbijt, loopt in 5 minuten naar het strand en ontmoet vriendelijk personeel.

Pros:

Staff disponibile, ci hanno anche fatto un upgrade gratuito della camera. Posizione ottima, proprio all'ingresso del parco. Colazione buona.

Cons:

Talmente vicino al parco che potresti svegliarti di notte con le urla delle scimmie che litigano tra loro, ma non lo considero un difetto.

Kleines Hotel direkt am Nationalpark
Pros:

Zentral gelegen, man ist in ~5 Minuten am Strand und in unter einer Minute am Eingang des Nationalparks. Das Hotel selbst hat einen Innenhof, der wie ein kleiner Jungle angelegt ist und der den „Besucherlärm“ der Massen, die morgens am Nationalpark anstehen, gut abschirmt. Freundliches Personal vorhanden.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück wird man von den Besuchern des Nationalparks begleitet, welche in einer riesen Schlange anstehen. Dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts. Das Frühstück könnte etwas liebevoller sein.

Super Lage um den Manuel Antonio Park zu besuchen.
Pros:

Grosses Zimmer mit Küche.

Cons:

Leider war die Klimaanlage in unserem vorgesehenen Zimmer defekt und wir hatten unser Zimmer in einem anderen Gebäude. Oberhalb des Restaurants Donde Alex. Morgens viel Lärm da der Treffpunkt der Touren direkt unter unserem Balkon war.
Keine Ablagen im Badezimmer.

Pros:

A wonderful stay. The location is ideal: the hotel is almost inside Manuel Antonio Park. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very kind.
Be careful, no parking! Possibility to park the car nearby but it that’s not free (about 10$ per day)

Can't beat the location for wildlife
Pros:

The location is excellent. Being so close to the National park, we saw squirrel monkeys, capuchins, sloths, raccoons and iguanas right in the hotel garden. It is a five minute walk to the beach. The pool is great in the heat. The air con worked really well in the rooms and was such a relief in the heat of the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They quickly found us another night tour when the tour we had booked fell through at the last minute. They also joined us in our nightly search of the gardens for frogs and other animals! There was lots of space in the first floor apartment in the house.

Cons:

It could benefit from a bit of updating and maintenance, like simply removing the broken screens on the balcony. It is a busy area from quite early in the morning, but that is to be expected next to the National park.

Pros:

A little oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Great location next door to Manuel Antonio national park. Saw almost as much nature while chilling by the pool as in the park itself. Fantastic. Monkeys, Sloth, deer and raccoons all seen from the hotel grounds. Pool charming, room had good air-conditioning, beds were comfortable and breakfast was fine. Walking out and directly into the national park on the days we visited was an added bonus.

Cons:

Not much. If being a little picky, the room was a little snug for 4, but it was okay. Parking is away from the hotel but we were helped with this by the reception staff and the car was fine.

We would recommend this hotel which is a stone’s throw away from one of the most popular and visited national parks in C
Pros:

The location for the national park was excellent. You could simply roll out of bed and cross the street and you’re there.

We had macaws in the garden in the morning and could hear the howler monkeys from our room which was lovely.

The beds were very comfortable so you could enjoy a rest after exploring the park and environs. There are lots to see and do with it walking distance.

Laundry service was good and reasonably priced.

We met the manager who was very kind and showed us photos of the animal guests who sometimes came to the hotel :-)

We would recommend this hotel

Cons:

The room was mostly clean but we did find someone else’s drink in the fridge- we didn’t make a fuss and just disposed of this as we saw that the room was clean and tidied.

It was a struggle to lock our front door (#01) - this took some effort. Hopefully this could be fixed for the next person.

When we were in, we could not watch local tv as it was all streaming and we don’t have logins for Netflix or Amazon prime so YouTube was our only go to which was fine but limited.

Due to the location the area is always busy- mainly during the day with tour buses dropping off or collecting people.

Breakfast was good- the Costa Rican típico was the best option in my opinion, perhaps you could another option such as a yoghurt & granola and tea with milk instead of just juice or coffee.
