Hotel ist etwas übertrieben - wer aber abgeschiedene Tage am Strand verbringen will ist richtig.
Pros:

Ich habe tolle Tage alleine am Strand verbracht. Die Küche ist super!

Cons:

Es sind Fincas, kein Hotel! Inklusive Ameisenstraßen, Kakerlaken und Co. Das gehört halt dazu. Bisschen ab vom Schuss ist es.

Great is you come with a quad or a rental car. With a scooter (like we did), it is quite stressing.
Pros:

The hotel is a former - still working - acienda and is about 2 km away from main road, accessible via a dirt road.
The place is nice in front of the lake but facing East.

Cons:

When we arrived, there were swarms of tiny moscitos (don't bite) that invade everything, rooms and beds included. It diminished the following days but was quite unpleasant. The location is great, the food as well, but it is the windy part of the shores. So, bathing there was not the best option.
Breakfast (gallo pinto and continental) are included. However, basic elements such as platano are served as extra. Not really very nice (even if the price is ok).

Put a tv on the rooms
Pros:

The location next to the water was beautiful but so dusty and we had to walk on dirt roads

Cons:

No TV on the rooms, only ONE tv to share. What’s up with that?

It was relaxing, fun and will definitely come back and recommend to friends.
Pros:

The breakfast every day was great. You had a choice of 7 different meals to choose from plus extras if you chose something else. Including breakfast is the way to go. The location was pretty close to shops and even some restaurants. I guess you can say it's a hidden gem.

Cons:

About the only thing was the wind was incredibly strong. But the other side of it the bugs were gone because of the winds.

A great place to stay and relax, not worrying about the kids as they enjoyed the food and beach.
Pros:

If you have kids including breakfast is a great way to have something for them to eat each morning. Lots of choices to choose from. The beach is great for them as well as the grounds with many areas for them to run around and explore. The staff was very accomodating from the moment we got there. The restaurant has great choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks to buy for the kids. The restaurant staff, front desk and even the maintenance staff were great.

Cons:

Really it has everything you need but the wind is a factor in the evenings. It does keep the bugs away.

Posto meraviglioso con alcuni aspetti decisamente non all'altezza
Pros:

1)La posizione immersa nella natura, silenziosa con un panorama bellissimo
2) Ottima cucina e servizio del ristorante
3) bungalow fronte lago totalmente in legno
4) spiaggia del lago di fronte ai bungalow

Cons:

1) acqua con pressione insufficiente( il risparmio energetico è solo una facciata...con più di 100euro a notte possono mettere una pompa)
2) scarsissima illuminazione ( stesso commento per l'acqua)
3) mancanza di scelta cuscini
4) nessuna informazione sulla condizione della strada per arrivare all'hotel...peraltro bellissima che attraversa fattorie con animali e alberi maestosi
5) costi del servizio lavanderia troppo alti
6) AC molto debole ( è indispensabile nella stagione umida e/o nelle giornate con assenza di vento)

Tranquility and comfort, beautiful with the sound of Lake Nicaragua’s waves as background music!
Pros:

The lake view cabins were literally on the lake beach. It was a quiet property with a sunrise view, great food, and an amazing staff.

Belíssima propriedade com maravilhoso café da manhã.
Pros:

A propriedade onde o hotel está, a Finca San Juan, é belíssima. Toda a área do hotel é linda, bem cuidada, com jardins, áreas comuns e de descanso. O quarto é bonito e muito bem cuidado. No café da manhã são oferecidas 5 opções já inclusas na diária e todas que experimentamos estavem excelentes. O atendimento foi muito atencioso e gentil.

Cons:

Em dois dias não houve água quente para tomar banho e isso impactou muito na qualidade da minha estadia.

Pros:

Extremely comfortable everywhere and great common areas to relax outside the room and near the restaurant. The mattress was very nice. Our dog enjoyed exploring the gardens and beach. Lots of monkeys in the trees.

The reception woman could be friendlier.
