Pros:

Location, room size was excellent, staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

If I had one criticism, it would be that the rooms have a kitchenette, but no cooking utensils ( pans, plates, cutlery etc)

we had a wonderful time in Istanbul with Ansen as a base.

The room we had, the penthouse, had outstanding views. the location was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros:

Wirklich großzügige Zimmer in einer super Lage.
Frühstück in Ordnung. Guten Kaffee gibt es nebenan.
Leider war der Kühlschrank im Zimmer nicht nutzbar. Und auch die Ausstattung der Küchenzeile war eher sehr minimalistisch. In der Dusche ging nur die kleine Brause.

Amazing stay!
Pros:

I had an amazing stay even though it was a one night accommodation, The staff are really friendly, they try to be helpful in every way. The room that I stayed was wonderful, modern and cozy at the same time. It was really big enough for me. It feels more like a home than a hotel. Location of the hotel is wonderful, just 2 minutes away from the metro station, which is making it really easy to reach every place.
It has own pub at the entrace floor, great for having a drink in the evening. Apart from its own pub, there are plenty of other options in the surrounding area. Looking forward to my next stay.

Localização, com metro quase à porta. Funcionários muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Limpeza sem nada a apontar.

Cons:

Pequeno-almoço. É de longe o ponto mais negativo. Resume-se a um Croissant, um ovo cozido, azeitonas, tomate, pepino, dois pequenos pedaços de queijo, uma mini geleia e mel. Café ou chá. Acabámos por tomar o pequeno-almoço noutros locais os restantes dias da estadia.

Meine Freundin und ich haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Ansen Suite keine Sekunde bereut. Der Service war hervorragend, die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die zahlreichen Empfehlungen zu Cafés, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie die hilfreichen Tipps, wie man die gewünschten Orte am besten erreicht.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Ervan, der sich mit großem Engagement um unser Wohlbefinden gekümmert hat und unseren Aufenthalt dadurch noch angenehmer gemacht hat.
Zum Hotel gehört auch der Irish Pub und ein Café.

Ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die zentrale Lage des Hotels. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Cafés, darunter einige sehr gute direkt in der Straße des Hotels, sowie die Istiklal-Straße und der Taksim-Platz sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Metrostation Şişhane (M2) sowie die Bushaltestelle Şişhane befinden sich nur etwa 3 bis 5 Gehminuten entfernt.

Wir werden bei unserer nächsten Reise nach Istanbul definitiv wieder die Ansen Suite buchen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

My girlfriend and I did not regret staying at Ansen Suite for a single second. The service was outstanding, and the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. We especially appreciated the many recommendations for cafés, restaurants, and attractions, as well as the helpful tips on the best ways to get around the city.

We would particularly like to highlight Ervan, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel also includes an Irish pub and a café.

Another major advantage of the hotel is its central location. Many attractions, restaurants, and cafés, including several excellent ones located right on the hotel's street, as well as Istiklal Street and Taksim Square, are within easy walking distance.

Das Einzige, was uns gestört hat, waren die Fenster zur Straßenseite. Da sie nicht besonders schallisoliert waren, konnte man abends die feiernden Menschen und den Verkehr recht deutlich hören, was uns aber nicht gestört hat.

The only downside for us was the street-facing windows. As they weren't very well soundproofed, we could clearly hear the traffic and people out celebrating in the evenings. However this didn't bother us.

Best location ever. Minutes away from the vibrant Taksim Square and Galata Tower. Surrounded by amazing bars and restaurants. Amazing nightlife!!
Rooms were huge. Breakfast was great! Reception staff...esp Ilyas was amazing. Ilyas really helped with local suggestions and even helped book a traditional shave and haircut for my son at very reasonable prices. Gem of a guy!!

Cons:

We were on the top floor with a room facing the street. Saturday night was loud with music till late, but they provide ear plugs. Part of the charm of staying close to the action!!

When we arrived at the hotel. We were told that they don’t have a room for us but we can stay in the hotel opposite, So we agreed and went across. But I was made to pay the full cost of the booking right then.

Then the next morning the new hotel said we need to check out and leave our bags in the lobby as they needed that room.

We are travelling with our 1 year old son so this was very difficult for us.

So we left our bags and when out to try and enjoy the day.

On returning we had to move to another room as the Asen hotel booking still said they don’t have a room.

The next morning we had to check out but couldn’t check into the Ansen wasn’t ready but will be ready later.

After a day out we arrived back to the hotel to be informed the room is ready. We checked in and stayed the rest of the trip in Ansen.

I will just add that through out this I expressed my dissatisfaction and it was always met with false promises and lies. We was informed that we would get a refund, but for the excuse as to why they couldn’t give straight away made no sense. And still to this day we never got a refund.

We had a great time visiting Istanbul but this hotel ruined our ability to relax knowing we had a place to stay

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist hervorragend – sehr zentral gelegen, sodass man die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Istanbul bequem zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen kann.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Jeder Mitarbeiter war stets zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Auch die Zimmer haben uns überzeugt: Sie sind modern und komfortabel ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und ausgesprochen sauber. Die tägliche Reinigung erfolgte gründlich und zuverlässig.

Insgesamt hat das Hotel unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Wer eine zentrale Unterkunft mit exzellentem Service, hoher Sauberkeit und komfortabler Ausstattung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Nice Hotel but with room to grow
Pros:

The employee at the check-in was very nice and helpful. The room was bigger as expected and we felt comfortable being there. It's a short walking distance from Galata Tower and Taksim Square. In the same street are many Cafe's and Restaurants

Cons:

The breakfast was nothing very special and for two adults and a child are but too small. But we could reorder. In the shower there are many black stains, probably mold and the kitchen is not equipped at all, we just stayed for one night so we didn't mind, but for a longer stay it would be helpful.

Wow-Effekt durch Ausblick von der Suite und prima Startpunkt zum Erkunden Istanbuls.
Pros:

Blick aus Penthouse wunderschön! Lage im lebhaften Viertel wenige Gehminuten vom Galata Tower und z.B. von der Shishane Metro entfernt.
Kleiner Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Schöne Buchhandlung in der Straße. Viele Cafés und Bars in unmittelbarer Umgebung.
Hotel-Team sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Cons:

Uns hat alles gut gefallen..wer es abends sehr ruhig haben will, sollte sich was anderes suchen ;)
Es gibt einen kleinen Balkon, der allerdings wahrscheinlich aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht betretbar war.
Anmerkung zum Frühstück: Man darf kein Continentales Frühstück mit Buffet erwarten; es werden kleinere türkische Snacks mit Brot und Ei serviert.
