We stayed at the InterContinental Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Hotel by IHG for one night before our flight to Victoria Falls , and it was the perfect choice for an airport layover.
The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the airport terminal, making travel completely stress-free. After a long journey, it was wonderful to arrive at such a comfortable and well-maintained hotel without needing additional transportation.
The hotel is spotless, modern, and very well maintained. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and provided a great night's sleep before our next flight.
We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and professional, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality and convenience.
What really stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. We were traveling with several large suitcases, and the team handled everything for us—from assisting with our luggage at check-in to helping us all the way back to the airport terminal the following day. Their service made our travel experience effortless.
A special thank you to the front desk team for upgrading us to complimentary breakfast. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit every taste, making it the perfect start to our day.
