It was easy access to the bus station.
Only 2 staff members were really nice to us, one which seemed to be the owner an older man who was there only during the days and did his best t9 accommodate us and the other a young man who manned the breakfast buffet and front desk.
Facilities were poor. No working hairdryer in the room.
Sound proof is non-existent.
It is not on a quiet street as in the hotel description, and there is a lof of traffic noise, people noise from both inside the building and from outside.
You are unable to sleep well with the constant noise.
The room we had, smal double, was infront of a tram line, which turned out to be a nightmare with the noise from early in the morning until late at night.
You can also clearly hear the conversation of the room next door, as well as the TV constantly.
We booked our room with breakfast... the breakfast was very poor, just one selection of bread, only boiled egg as an option and a whole array of condiments that don't work well together - the breakfast option was not what we expected and neither was it value for money.
There are no facilities outside of your room to relax or just enjoy a good view.
If you enjoy a good nights rest, this place isn't for you.
The comforter on the bed was small for the bed, it seemed to be a duvet fir a 3/4 bed put onto a double bed - it touched the mattress from end to end with no excess to hand over the sides.
The bedsheet was not of a decent quality. It had fuzzy balls all over (pills) which was really uncomfortable to sleep on.
The pictures on Booking.com are very inaccurate compared to the actual place.

The man sitting at the desk doesnt like to talk, is full of arrogance and attitude. There is no help when you need it. The AC in the room didnt work, we reported it on first day of our trip and didnt get fixed at all. The hotel has a bad mell overall and didnt look as great as shown in the pics.
The hotel's location is excellent. The sea-facing room was perfect. The hotel staff are very helpful.

The hotel’s location was excellent, with easy access to major attractions, restaurants, cafés, and shopping areas. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was consistent and maintained a high standard throughout our stay. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We had a wonderful experience and felt very comfortable during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area for business or leisure.🫶

Dirty, smelly and full of RATS
Having travelled to many countries around the world, this is by far the WORSEST hotel I have ever stayed in. I checked out after just one night (I was supposed to stay for 4 nights)
The double room I booked had mould in the fridge and, at night, constant noises from rats that had probably made a nest between the ceiling and the ceiling panelling (the breakfast area is on the floor above); there was also mould in the bathroom, hair and stains on the bed, a broken, leaking shower, the chimney from the restaurant next door emitted foul odours, and the soundproofing was terrible (the railway is just a few metres away). The staff were rude and unprofessional. I strongly advise you to read all the genuine reviews carefully, including those on Google, before booking, and perhaps choose another hotel [there are so many on that area) so as not to ruin your holiday.
