Terrible. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel

Cons:

The air conditioning didn’t work and the staff insisted that it did— blatantly lying to me while we both stood in front of the vent with warm air coming out

Turin une ville à ne pas manquer

l'emplacement était parfait. Situé entre le centre ville et le pÖ.

The location was good, but everything else was disappointing.
Pros:

The location of the hotel was good. Our room was clean.

Cons:

Our room was very small. The corridors smelt of damp. Wallpaper was falling off in places and indeed plaster.

The location was good.

Cons:

air conditioner was off for the first several days-- it was extremely hot in the room. Even when the air conditioner was fixed, it was very weak, and the room was still hot.

I was disappointed especially because it was so hot indoors
Pros:

It was close to the conference and to major plazas and shopping arcades and the river. I got good instructions about how to open the doors after hours. The foyer provided a couple of nice couches which allowed us to meet other colleagues.

Cons:

The air conditioning was not working. The rooms were very hot at night. When I reported this to the front desk they ignored me and told me it was working. I think it pumped out air but the air was warm.
The shower was small. I could do okay with that but one of the doors did not open well. It could easily be fixed.
The breakfast was very sweet with not much to choose from in terms of cheese and meats or eggs.

Pros:

Central location

Cons:

Air conditioning not working at night because they switch it off at night, as the man behind the desk told us. We booked this hotel because we were moving the day after but a good night sleep was impossible without airconditioning.

Basic amenities but great location.

Cons:

My friend and I were asigned one room but the bath tub door did not open. We were transferred to another room after waiting for a while. We had to take our luggage to the other room at 11 pm and did not receive an apology or a discount. The staff were ok but rarely smiled. The carpet needs replacing in some areas and the rooms need to be repainted. The elevator is only for 2 people at a time.
