Taj Maza Sunset Villas

El trato del staff y el restaurante. La comida excelente y la comodidad de la habitación. Me ayudaron a decorar la habitación y una tarta para felicitar a mi pareja, y a conseguir todo lo necesario para el ocio en la isla.

Stay in September 2025:
Couple’s trip and our first time in Bali. We chose our hotels based on Booking reviews.
For Gili Trawangan, we stayed at Taj Maza for 5 nights.

Location: The hotel is on the west side of the island, on the sunset coast. Perfect location since it’s far from the noisy nightlife area.

Check-in: Done around 2 PM, the room was already ready.

Room: Or rather, a villa — with an exceptional private pool and a clean, well-equipped room. A nice little touch was prepared for us on arrival as it was our honeymoon.

Hotel: Consists of around a dozen villas, all beautiful and very well maintained.

Staff: AMAZING — unbelievably kind, helpful, and always smiling.

Breakfast: À la carte, good, with several options.

Getting around: By bike or electric scooter on the island.

Nearby activities: Beach, snorkeling, open-air cinema, restaurants…

Conclusion: A stunning hotel with beautiful villas, outstanding staff, and a perfect location. We are very happy we stayed here and enjoyed it for 5 nights.

Al llegar nos recibieron con un mocktail de tamarindo que nos encantó. La villa es enorme, la piscina tiene luz y chorros que puedes encender y apagar y hay una puerta por la que puedes acceder directamente a la ducha desde la piscina. La cama es comodisima y por la noche se duerme genial, no se escucha ningun ruido. Hay varias opciones de desayuno y puedes pedir que te lo lleven a la habitación, nosotros también pedimos algunos mocktails durante nuestra estancia e igualmente te los llevaban a la habitación. Llegamos al alojamiento en un carro con caballo que nos costo 200000 idr y pedimos en el alojamiento que avisaran a uno para el día que nos íbamos y lo consiguieron por 150000 de forma puntual. Tanto el chico de recepción como otro chico y una chica que nos atendían en el restaurante y nos llevaban el desayuno fueron super amables, siento haber olvidado los nombres, pero muchas gracias por lo bien que nos tratasteis los días que estuvimos allí. Como vieron que nos gustaba el mocktail de tamarindo, nos llevaron un poco en la cena para probar y nos prepararon una bolsita con mas tamarindo para que nos lleváramos el día que dejamos el alojamiento. También habia snacks en la habitación.

Un séjour absolument parfait ! La villa est magnifique, propre et très bien équipée, avec une piscine privée idéale pour se détendre. L’emplacement est exceptionnel, directement sur la plage pour admirer des couchers de soleil incroyables, tout en étant dans un coin calme et reposant.

Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et disponible, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et délicieux, avec la possibilité de le savourer dans la villa ou en mode floating breakfast dans la piscine, un vrai plus !

Franchement, c’est un sans faute du début à la fin. Je recommande à 100 % et j’y reviendrai sans hésiter

La struttura è molto bella, grande e accogliente. È tutto sempre super pulito e il personale è disponibile e gentile.
Il tutto accompagnato da quest’isola che è meravigliosa.

The villa was great, very comfortable with a nice space for dining. The pool was fantastic, and the bed was super comfortable. We loved that the bathroom had a door opening directly to the pool — very convenient. The sunsets there are absolutely amazing. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

• Everything is clean — including the pool, towels, and bedding.

The staff were very friendly and accommodative. Also the location was just wow. They also decorated the room for our anniversary on my request. So loved the staff and location

Nice stuff, very welcoming and helpful. They organized us bikes, transports and tours for good price

Hotel is located on west side of island. Very good to relax but still close enough to main attractions of island.

Rooms with private pool are amazing. Breakfast is lovely. They even serve it onto your room.
