Pros:

Breakfast was great and the location was great. Cute little town.

Cons:

No A/C and no fans. I don't blame the property for the heat--I'm the one who traveled during a heat wave. But the room was sweltering and a fan would have helped.

Pros:

Location worked while walking Offa's Dyke

Cons:

The staff were rude. We ordered sandwiches for packed lunch and had to remind them loads of times. No fridge in the room so we had to leave them in the communal fridge where one got stolen. Everything seemed a hassle to them.

Top top host!
Pros:

Sheila was unbelievable. She kindly got the rooms ready for us to check in early, as we were heading to a nearby wedding. She then drove us back to the wedding venue the next day to collect our car. The downstairs pub was fun too. Thanks so much!

Pros:

Friendly hosts, in a quiet area
Stayed here on the Offas Dyke walk, and this was a convenient stop, albeit two miles from the path.
The dinner was good, after our day's walk.

Cons:

Unfortunately the single beds in our twin room were not very comfortable.
The shower was a spray off the taps, with no wall attachment, so it wasn't possible to have a proper shower

Great for hikers
Pros:

Stayed one night for a wedding. Location was good for us. Staff very friendly and cooked a lovely breakfast

I can see this being a great place for avid hikers as the area is stunning.

Cons:

No shower cubicle? Just a bath/shower tap which is fine if there is a curtain?

Just had to sit in the bath for a wash. I'm fit and able but this might be a struggle for less able people.
