Gut für kurze Aufenthalte
Pros:

Fußläufig zum Hafen und zum Dorf mit den langen Sandstränden und vielen Restaurants gelegen. Kleine, überschaubare Anlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal

Cons:

Sehr beengtes Bad, viele Mücken weil in unmittelbarer Nähe stehendes Brackwasser ist. Gartenanlage ist klein und bietet keine Privatsphäre

Comfortable stay convenient to cruise ferry dock
Pros:

Friendly staff. They provided a transfer from the airport to the hotel for a small charge.
They upgraded our room, as we were the only guests in the hotel.
Very nice, open common room with comfortable chairs and hammocks.
Good breakfast.

Cons:

The pre-arrival communication could have been better. I had asked if there was a restaurant onsite and had specifically asked if it would be open the evening of our arrival. They messaged back "Yes" and sent a photo of the menu. However, it was not operating that night. Fortunately, it was a short walk into town where a restaurant they recommended was open.

Great Location & Great Hospitality
Pros:

The location was amazing. 800 ft from the ferry, easy and safe walk. Less than a mile into town and safe to walk day/night. The room we stayed in was spacious. The food the ladies fix at The Wooden House was excellent. They are hands on from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, so accommodating all the time. The pool was refreshing and the grounds were so safe, cute, quaint, relaxing, and quiet. Helpful in booking tours on site and calling taxis. Anything we asked they did so I don't know that there is anything they would not do for their guests. Great place, definitely would return to The Wooden House.

Cons:

Not negative for The Wooden House but worth noting for travelers: taxis stop operating from town at 7pm.

Pros:

Home from home -Fabulous family run hotel
Pros:

Charming family run hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere & a lovely garden with small pool .
Staff very helpful and food excellent! Spacious & spotlessly clean rooms. Easy walk to the beach & small bars /restaurants as well as the boat trip meeting points .

Pros:

The staff was friendly.

Cons:

The room (nr 2) was situated under the stairs. As the building is made from wood the footsteps on the stairs gave a lot of noise.
There were two windows in the room; one faced the hallway leading to the patio. Other guests walked past here, and since the window was only covered with a strip of opaque tape, they could see right into your room (read: bed). The other window faced the clothesline, where people walked past to hang their laundry.
The small window in the bathroom overlooked the stairs.
The windows were covered with old, damaged, and dirty transparent blinds. Therefore, there was no privacy in the room.
The swimmingpool was very very small and looked dirty.
This is not a 4 star hotel but more a hostel. The price was for a 4 star hotel; completely out of proportion.

Lovely clean, quiet place between the town and the dock.
Pros:

Very nice hotel a little outside of town but near the dock. The room was spacious and clean; breakfasts were tasty and ample. The real find was the restaurant, which is rarely open. If you can get them to serve you a dinner, go for it!

Cons:

A little walk into Puerto Villamil, but it’s flat and easy.

Good, quiet location.
Pros:

Good, quiet location half way between Port/Concha de Perla and the town. Clean, comfy, large room with nice bathroom. Staff were very friendly. Good air-conditioning and WiFi.

Cons:

A little pricey. Couple of small windows that didn't have blinds. Shame we couldn't get a late checkout particularly as the hotel was empty 😞

Best Location and Stay to Be Had on Isabela Island
Pros:

This is where to stay, best local, best pumpkin soup lol, on the whole island. Pool was great, super clean, super hosts. I will return here if i ever come back to Isabela Island. Location ! Location ! Location ! Super special, especially for this island.
