Basically, no regrets at all, I'm kinda happy to give Novelty a try, but not sure about the return.
Pros:

Located on the main, crowded and heavy traffic street of the city, the hotel is super near the Flagpole Park/the gate of Back Beach and surrounded by many local 'bistros' with 'iconic' dishes such as banh khot, stingray hotpot, banh bong lan trung muoi,... in case you don't have any idea for meals. The quality is so-so and the price is not reasonable sometimes. Dig around the internet if you want to come to the 'right' must-try bistro for each dishes. No receptionist, the security guy would give you a check-in. The room is decent, clean, no smell issues. The bed is comfortable enough for someone has sleeping difficulties like me. I request to check out at 2pm due to my schedule and the extra fee is kinda 'soft' 50.000vnd/hour. Personal luggage was kept at the reception for me to freely have a city tour in last minutes before I left. Nice support!

Cons:

Although they brand themselves booking without credit card. They would give you a direct message asking you to banking transfer full price after your booking confirmed. No partly deposit, FULL! The soundproofing is bad. My toilet room's air outlet is directly open to the air outlet of the next room. So basically, we can hear each other bathing, washing,... at the same time.
