Old-world charm in historic Québec
Pros:

Best croissants I've ever had, friendliest front desk staff (Fara) who recommended a wonderful spot for supper and took the time to make our stay extra wonderful (brought a hair dryer to the room, recommendations, chats, warm welcome, etc). Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom with heated floor, stunning old manoir in a great location. Umbrellas available in the lobby were so appreciated, as it was raining during our stay - classy move! Held onto our luggage after checkout so we could enjoy the city before getting our car. Would stay here again.

Pros:

We loved our two story room, the open concept bathroom with the pocket windows. The holding itself was so unassuming and charming. Quaint and almost had a bed and breakfast feeling. Cozy and understated with a decent continental breakfast (fresh croissants and chocolatines, and crepes to order). The location was perfect; close to everything and really easy to navigate from.

Cons:

I would have liked a proper table to use and an extra chair available in case my husband and I wanted to eat dinner in. There was not much room to sit and lounge in the downstairs area. There was a coffee table, it just wasn’t conducive to sharing a meal on.

Sweet, simple hotel. Staff and communication are beyond exceptional.
Pros:

Excellent location. Simple, clean, comfortable hotel with few amenities. Nice, simple, tasty, European style breakfast included with just enough choice. Exceptionally good, smooth, seamless, clear communication from the property in English, if that’s how you booked. What makes this place is the absolutely lovely, cheerful, friendly, warm, efficient, helpful and fully bilingual staff. I would rate the staff way higher than 10/10.

Cons:

They warn you that they only make up the rooms every second day, which is actually fine, but be prepared. The room and property key on your phone absolutely works but some people may find it cumbersome.
