Beautiful scenic views and hotel

Me gusto la arquitectura de las habitaciones y que los meseros fueron muy amables desde nuestro ingreso.

Adorable property with some rooms that overlook the lake. Restaurant food was above average. We stayed in one of the Villa rooms - modest up charge that was worth it. Nice patio overlooking the lake - we bought a bottle of wine and enjoyed sunsets.

This lovely hacienda was absolutely perfect for us in every way. We had two huge beds in a family-sized duplex bungalow with private parking at the end of a semi-private path lined with ornamental plants and beautifully lit up with tiny lights at night. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was great. Our room had multiple ceiling fans and an A/C, but we didn't need either. Our room came with its own private garden outside our back door, with a comfortable sitting and working area surrounded by huge mature plants and an unbelievably gorgeous view over lake Suchitlan and the surrounding rural countryside. Our typical Salvadorean breakfast on the terrace of the associated restaurant was incredibly delicious, and featured more gorgeous views. The entire compound is at the very end of the road, very near to the historic town center but quite secluded and quiet, with huge grounds, including a lovely garden and a swimming pool. There were lots of birds, which were fun to watch. With so much space and so much privacy all at the same time, it felt like a getaway that could be perfect for a small wedding or family reunion. What we loved most is that it felt so typical and not touristy at all.

Really beautiful hotel with a good restaurant and a lovely staff. We had a beautiful view from the balcony.

La ubicación era buena, las habitaciones comidas y espaciosas solo que tenían mucha polilla las camas de la bisagras del techo, el desayuno estuvo muy bueno y el personal fue amable!

It was quiet, the rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean There was a lovely pool, shady court yard with fountain. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a lovely oasis in elegant surroundings.

My stay at Posada de Suchitlán was nothing short of magical. The property perfectly blends colonial charm with modern comforts, offering a serene escape in the heart of Suchitoto. The views of Lake Suchitlán from a the restaurant are breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The lush gardens on the property make it feel like a true oasis.

The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The on site restaurant serves delicious Salvadoran cuisine with fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere is both cozy and elegant.

The location is ideal—just a short walk from Suchitoto’s historic center, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and relax. I can’t wait to return!

Everything was good except for the beds. Beds where a bit uncomfortable.

Also I am salvadorean by birth and and am 56 years old it was the first time seeing the national bird of my country the majestic torogoz right out the villa (rooms) also there were tuccans
