Location. Rooms were to a lovely standard
Nothing
Everything
The room was amazing with a bathtub in the main bedroom and a balcony. Both unexpected. Good assortment of tea and coffee in the room.
The balcony hadn’t been cleaned, soap dispensers not replenished. Screen on the shower looked unclean too.
The building its self was nice, with lovely interiors in the bar and outdoor deck areas. The room was clean with spacious bathroom.
The bed was solid and uncomfortable to sleep on. The breakfast wasn’t worth the money. Cooked breakfast was over cooked with no hash browns. French toast had 1 slice of bread.
The location everything was brilliant. The room and Particularly the staff.
The breakfast at £24 per person was bad and how much of the hot section was poor for the price. The terrace and room not private over looking at people looking in. And terrace felt like sitting in public area And a goldfish bowl.
Location
Now have to pay for parking.
Not keen on stairs to room
Breakfast was just ok and was uninspiring
People sitting right outside my room window
Beautifully presented hotel with a nice communal areas and very comfortable rooms.
Nothing - it was all good.
Stayed about 5-6 times now over the years and always enjoy the ambience of the place and the friendliness of the staff. Went the extra mile by offering a car space on their driveway which was a nice touch.
Nothing of any note although I do think faulty lights in Junior Suites are a no-no. Especially where the fascia to the free standing lights wiring, comes away from the wall! Slightly surprised Laroche didn’t have the twin shower option but we enjoyed the room/space all the same. Always good to know what the terrace rooms offer :)
Friendly staff
Was disappointed what we paid for room and it was quite basic compared with the pictures online
Comfortable junior suite. Nice bar. Good restaurant. Very good staff.
Menu hit & miss. First night very good. Second not so.
