The kindest and most serviceminded staff
Pros:

The staff at Aloft were outstanding. They were very friendly and extremely service-minded. They even arranged a special dinner for us with Sri Lankan dishes, which was very delicious. We were also assigned a personal contact (Thuhina) who did everything possible to accommodate our requests in no time. Beautiful location with view to the temple, Ella is easy to reach by Tuk Tuk.

Thumbs up from family of four with young children. Great hotel outside the noise of Ella. Be prepared to pay for Tuk tuk
Pros:

Good pool, room and food. The staff were very helpful and kind, especially the nice chap Charith who was always smiling, friendly and organised fair priced Tuk tuks to local sites.

Por el precio que tiene nada

Que nos pusieran primero en una habitacion que daba miedo, sin ventilador ni terraza,olor horrible, pequeña para 4 y las paredes descascarilladas....ante la queja nos cambiaron a la de al lado un poco mas grande y con ventilador...el responsable luego me dijo que es que habia cogido una reserva sin ventilador...pero luego viendo mi reserva tranquilamente si que lo tenia...no dije nada por no cabrearme mas...la habitacion tenia fuga de agua y entraban muchos bichos ya que tenia una parte abierta de arriba de la puerta sin cerrar...todo el exterior lleno de botellas de plastico y basura tirada...la piscina verde, no la pudimos utilizar y la entrada totalmente en cuesta que no sube ni el coche...y necesitas coche para ir a Ella

Les chambres avec terrasse
Chambres bien équipées ( ventilateurs, bouilloires, verres, tasses, thé, sucre, draps, serviettes)
Le personnel attentionné mais en rodage
Le dîner était de bonne qualité ( mais un peu cher)

La piscine : mal entretenue, sale, pas de joints (
Les enfants s'y sont abîmés les jambes et avaient étonnamment mal aux dents après s'y être baignés)

The staff were fantastic.
The balcony was the best part of the room lol

Cons:

The hotel is not ready just yet I think.
To many snags need doing.
We had problem after problem.
Staff were onit it straight away but I don't want to mes staff 16 times in 3 days

Pros:

The only thing we liked was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff who assisted us with all our requests

Cons:

The hotel is located between two noisy streets and to reach the reception from the bungalows you have to walk up a very steep slope. In the first room assigned to us there was a mouse and we changed rooms. The wifi very slow. The next day at 4 pm the room had still not been cleaned. Breakfast and dinner service exasperatingly slow. No beer for dinner although they went and got it for us afterwards. The night was cold and the blankets were not sufficient. The sheets were short and tight. And finally, the staff's level of English is totally insufficient even to understand each other.
