The way they treated me when I asked for a refund due to falsely advertising the location to Shamrock Rovers FC.

Very dated decor
Air conditioning didn’t work
Windows were not soundproof enough
Very loud music from bar audible til nearly one and we were up in 3rd floor
Leisure centre not on site(across a street and public car park)
No fridge or bottled water in rooms

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price we paid.

Upon arrival at 4 pm, my wife and I entered the hotel carrying multiple pieces of luggage and struggled to open the entrance door. Two reception staff members were standing behind the desk chatting with each other, yet neither made any effort to assist us. This was a poor first impression and fell well below the level of service expected in the hospitality industry.

The overall attitude at reception throughout our stay was equally disappointing. Communication lacked professionalism, warmth, and basic courtesy. Even when we called regarding missing slippers in the room, there was no apology or genuine willingness to help—just an indifferent tone.

One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because air conditioning was listed as an amenity. However, on arrival, I was informed that our room did not have air conditioning and that only certain rooms did. This was particularly frustrating given the extremely hot weather and made our stay quite uncomfortable.

The room itself had several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The bathroom sink and bathtub drained so slowly that water would quickly pool, forcing us to pause while washing our hands or showering. The shower head had clogged nozzles, resulting in poor water flow. Instead of a proper glass shower partition, there was an old shower curtain that repeatedly stuck to our bodies while showering, making the experience unpleasant and unhygienic.

Overall, this was an expensive stay that failed to deliver even basic standards of comfort, maintenance, and customer service. I expected far better for the price paid and would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to both staff hospitality and room maintenance.

Evening meal

Staff were very unhelpful and rude,.
It says on the site that there was an indoor pool but failed to mention that it was not in the hotel but in a leisure centre nearby. Had to pay for it separately and was refunded by the hotel in vouchers which could only be used in the hotel.
There was a Thai restaurant in the hotel but when we asked about food we were not told about it ,,just directed to the bar . Staff stood around and didn’t take an order until asked. Several mistakes made with the orders and when the bill came we were overcharged for the deserts, charged a different price from the menu. When we said it to the duty manager he was very rude and threw the change on the counter.

Bit old building didn't like d wine from d barrel v cheap wine but v expensive for a glass didn't like d breakfast v greasy so we ate elsewhere

The bed was very high.

Shower wasn't adjustable ie no hand held option possible
