Tower Bridge spacious KING BEDROOM with excellent access to London landmarks

We left and found another accommodation on the very first day.

The house is completely shared with the owners, who live there, but the bedroom door doesn’t even have a lock for greater privacy and security.

The bathroom also wasn’t properly clean. The toilet seat had dirt stains, and the mirror had toothpaste marks. The door doesn’t close properly; it needs to be locked so that it doesn’t open by itself.

We also think it could be clearer in the listing that the bathroom is completely shared, as well as the rest of the house. There is no kind of privacy or personal space.

We tried to talk about the matter in person with Mr. Viktor, but he was unavailable because he was working and would only arrive home two hours later, around 10:30 p.m. Tired from the trip and extremely disappointed and uncomfortable in that environment, we found another accommodation, left the keys, and went away.

As we were unable to speak in person with Mr. Viktor, we left a message on his phone explaining the whole situation, trying to discuss a possible refund, and emphasizing our gratitude for the kind way he had welcomed us and how deeply sad we were that the situation was happening.

The response we received was a sequence of passive-aggressive, arrogant, and unpleasant messages from someone we had thought was reasonable and a good person. Mr. Viktor turned out to be disrespectful towards people who had never disrespected him, and deceptive. He had no problem at all keeping our money, and even seemed to find the situation amusing. Surreal.

Probably the noisiest room I've ever stayed in. The major junction that the building sits on means that traffic noise and pedestrian noise (the room is just below street level) made it impossible for us to sleep.

The traffic noise at night and early morning as bedroom window is by a very busy junction.
Pillows were very lumpy.
Please be aware there is a shared bathroom and kitchen plus no tv in the bedroom.

A little noisy as this was in the heart of the city - but traffic wound down at night.

On entend le bruit de la rue mais c’est le prix à payer pour avoir un logement si pratique dans le centre ville.

Nothing, it was all excellent.

There was nothing to not like . Some may find the noise of london a bit of a shock, but it is an urban area. But we had no problem as we kept windows shut and used the hi tech dyson fan to keep us cool .

Küche sehr schön und stylisch aber uns fehlten gute Pfannen und Töpfe zum Kochen sowie ein scharfes Messer. Wie gesagt, ansonsten sehr schön und gepflegt.
