Charming, attractive, peaceful hotel in a fantastic location
Pros:

Fantastic location - easy walking distance to the heart of stellenbosch but just far enough away that it is peaceful and calm. Not one but two swimming pool areas! Both with a good number of comfortable sun loungers. Very attractive outdoor areas, indoor sitting room and dining room. Good WiFi speed (we needed to work remotely). Very good breakfast menu. Helpful and polite staff, flexible and accommodating to our needs. Quiet bedroom, large comfortable bed.

Cons:

Our bedroom and bathroom could do with a refresh - paintwork looking tired.

Very enjoyable made even better by excellent staff.
Pros:

Extremely well located in a quiet district within easy walking distance of most of the sights of Stellenbosch plus lively wine bars and restaurants. Very well appointed, classy building. The staff were all excellent, going out of their way to help on many occasions.

Cons:

Food was a bit limited but perfectly OK and there are very many places to eat and drink within a short distance so no problem.

De vriendelijkheid van de medewerkers was erg goed!

Cons:

De afwerking van de locatie. Badkamer qua vloer, tegels en kitranden zijn oud en ogen vies en versleten. Dit pas totaal niet bij de prijs die wij betaalden. Wij betaalden bijna 1000 euro voor drie nachten. We hebben veel betere en mooiere verblijven gehad voor dit geld. Voor deze prijs mag je ook verwachten dat een drankje in de middag inbegrepen zit maar deze komen nog op de rekening.
Zwembad mag ook schoner en ligbedden zijn wat ingezakt helaas.

Schöne Gartenanlage mit Pool, Kaffee und Kuchen inklusive, gutes Frühstück, freundliches Personal :)

Cons:

Das Zimmer welches wir bekommen haben, stimmte überhaupt nicht mit den Buchubgsbildern überein. Es war alt und abgewohnt, klein und unmodern mit winzigem Bad. Für den Preis erwartet man etwas anderes

Outstanding! Lovely property, excellent location and staff that went the extra mile.
Pros:

The property was lovely. Spacious, serene, nice seating areas throughout, 2 pools and a perfect location close to restaurants and shops. What made this hotel outstanding was the staff. They were there just to make sure that your stay was perfect. And it was!

Very central to the town. Charming property and super friendly staff.

Cons:

Near the big church which chimes through the night! The rooms have become quite expensive over the years!

Belle étape !!
Pros:

Le service, les attentions à notre arrivée, pendant le séjour ...et après (nous avions oublié nos blousons !). Le jardin avec ses deux piscines, au calme et notre terrasse devant la chambre. Le diner léger servi sur mesure et à la commande. L’emplacement dans la ville et le parking sont aussi des arguments.
