Fab Wine Area stay in S.Africa
Pros:

It was an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay.
Beautiful food, amazing views, staff lovely and always going out of the way to help. Was lovely having the golf course and managed to get some training.
Would love to stay again.

Cons:

The price was quite high, especially on some of the days. But was an excellent hotel!

Great stay at Hazendal
Pros:

The location great not in town center
Breakfast was great , waiters little to formal for first thing in morning.
Staff very helpful when we had a problem with the rental car and our key cards.

Cons:

The lighting in bathroom can be more brighter

Fantastic location and facilities.

Cons:

Menus can be improved and access to hotel main restaurant immediately after checkout became unavailable. Prices were steep for South Africans. WIne tasting as its a wine estate could be better promoted.

We loved our short stay
Pros:

The hotel is truly wonderful. The staff are very kind and extremely attentive. We regret not staying longer, we definitely should have spent more time at this hotel.

We also really appreciated how family-oriented the hotel is. The children loved the playroom, and the spa was excellent as well.

Cons:

The restaurant options are limited, and the menus are as well. We expected to find more variety.

The main restaurant where we had dinner ended up offering many of the same dishes that appeared in the other outlets, which felt more like snack options than full meals. Although the food itself was good, it did not always feel like a proper dining experience, more like light bites.

Overall, we believe there should be more menu variety and more substantial meal options.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Sehr guter Standort für Unternehmungen im Raum Stellenbosch und auch Capetown ist gut zu

Das Hotel ist in einem sehr guten Zustand.Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick in den Innenhof.Schöner Pool (Nicht 08/15 sondern sehr geschmackvoll in die Gartenlandschaft integriert).Sehr freundliches,hilfsbereites Personal.Sensationelles Frühstück.

Cons:

Wenn man das Haar in der Suppe sucht….
Je nach Windrichtung gibt es ein wenig störende Strassengeräusche.Die massiven Stromüberlandleitungen trüben leider den optischen Gesamteindruck.

Outstanding and special 20th anniversary celebration at Hazendal, all the staff were impeccable, especially Henriette.
Pros:

Beautiful accommodation, delicious wine, tasty food and exceptional service.

This is an exceptional place and we will definitely visit again.

Everything
We stayed here for 9 nights after I had surgery to my shoulder and they took fantastic care of me. The room is beautiful , the gardens are gorgeous, the menu and food superb and the personnel exceptional.

Cons:

Instagrammers (as day visitors) visiting the public areas making it uncomfortable for families and normal people wanting to enjoy this beautiful place.

Pros:

Service sets new standards. Exceptional. All the staff were super friendly, which made our stay amazing.
Rooms were very spacious and the mattresses were extra comfy.
Cleanliness is also better than expected.
Finally the food and especially the breakfast is on another level.

Cons:

Minor issues like for example the location which is next to Brackenfell rather than close to Stellenbosch.
Also, for those who love spending all day in the pool, there is not much space and the pool is a bit small
