Full experience of Amalfi - easy-to-walk location at the end of the shopping street.
Pros:

The location is up the hill on the main street of Amalfi. It's a restricted traffic area, but if you're staying at the hotel you're allowed to drive through. During the day, when there are more people walking around, the entrance to the street may be temporarily fenced off with a "pedestrians only" fence - but you just need to tell the traffic controller you're heading to the hotel and give its name, and they'll let you through. It's a fun experience squeezing through a street full of shoppers with a car. Walking to and from the beach, the gradient is mild and very walkable, even during a heatwave. There's a parking garage (Laudano) 100m from the door with superb service, costing 40 euros for 24 hours - or 5 euros per hour if you want to stay longer on the check-out day. The hotel itself is very cozy; it's a magical journey through the gardens and underground passages to the lift that takes you up to the hillside. It is truly an experience. As the hotel locates at the very end of the main shopping street you can also enjoy lower prices for the souvenirs and pizzas or beverages in the last pizzeria on the street.

Cons:

The room could have been a bit more spacious for 4, but on the plus side, the 2 additional beds were solid and comfortable. As other reviewers mentioned, the shower water tends to flow out toward the room in some cases. That said, it seems to be a user-specific issue: 2 of our 4 had trouble with it. A small lip on the shower floor would help prevent this.

Wunderschöner Ausblick auf die Umgebung.
Pros:

Wunderschöner Ausblick zum Meer, dass alles andere in den Schatten stellt. Auch sehr schöne Frühstücksterrasse mit vielseitigem Frühstück. Zu der Anhöhe des Hotels kann man mit dem Aufzug fahren. Wenige Minuten zum Stadtkern.

Cons:

Wir waren 4 Personen, da war das Zimmer ein wenig klein, wir bekamen aber ein Angebot zum selben Preis in ein Appartement zu ziehen, welches aber nicht den tollen Ausblick hatte.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Alanara in Amalfi. We would especially like to thank Salvatore, who was incredibly helpful and responded to all our questions very quickly. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home.

The terrace at the villa was absolutely beautiful and a perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

The location is excellent. The villa has an elevator, so there is no need to climb lots of stairs, which is a big advantage in Amalfi. It is only a 3–4 minute walk from the main square and is also very close to the port and the beach.

Everything was simply wonderful. We highly recommend Villa Alanara and would be happy to stay there again!

Nossa estadia foi maravilhosa, a localização foi excelente, vista linda e bom custo benefício.
Pros:

A localização é incrível, da pra curtir a linda vista de Amalfi e estar a pouco metros do centrinho. A propriedade é um charme e tem uma vista maravilhosa!

Cons:

A cama do quarto que fiquei era um pouco desconfortável, assim como a qualidade da roupa de cama, os lençóis não estavam passados e pareciam usados, mas ao solicitar a troca fui prontamente atendida. O café da manhã poderia ter um pouco mais quantidade e variedade, mas é razoável.

Check in. Quando chegamos não tinha ninguém na recepção. A atendente estava em outra recepção e não nos atendeu. Ficamos meio perdidas, sendo que ela viu que havíamos chegado, e ficou calada. Acho que isso é um problema na Itália. Muitas pessoas que trabalham com turismo não gostam de atender turista.
