The Blyde Crystal Lagoon Luxury Stays

All sliding doors were not working properly ,beds were not clean ,water get cold so fast ,you have to request the pin when coming in and out (maximum of 4 times a day),the furniture it’s nice but not strong , neighbours always complain about moving chair and noise whereas we were not even playing speakers or talking loud ,when you need to use the beach you have to were a certain way also lot of restrictions when using the beach .

Terrible system to get in and out. Had to wait over 20 min everytime to enter or leave and need new codes everytime. Lagoon is stunning but you have to pay every time you want to go there, also if you just want to walk and you need somebody to go with you so no freedom. Room is not equipped for self catering for 6, hardly tools to cook, no cuttlery or plates, 4 towels and only 2 chairs outside. No space to hang laundry or swimmingclothes, you get fined if you put it on your balcony. At nights loud cars playing music driving around the park and oeople screaming and drinking- no security that comes to assist.

NothingEverything was fine for me excpt the little hiccups I mentioned earlier on.

Our apartment was very dirty with dirty linen and no clean towels. We had to call the host upon check in to clean the apartment. It was extremely dirty

The security process at the gate is very slow, with guards that seem to be busy with too many things at once. There should be more staff to avoid the slow process and long queues. I'm glad we were early, cause after us the queue to access the property was ridiculous.

The lady at the payment point to access the lagoon is very rude with no customer service. I paid for a 2yr old only to find out she wasn't supposed to pay, and was told later and that there's no refund, with an attitude and that I should've asked her 1st.

Please add more tissues

The long queue at the gate to checkin was a nightmare, we waited for over an hour. The host did not communicate in advance relating to the lagoon entrance payment and we had to wait another hour trying to get in, she was responsive on her phone though. Checkout, she didnt communicate in advance regarding the exit codes which in turn made us to wait again.

The lack of toilet paper

We came with 2 cars, unfortunately we were offered 1 parking and the car was supposed to look for a parking far from the apartment. Again our bed had only a fitted sheet and a quilt. No flat sheet.

It had a lot of broken stuff, there was a chair broken, sliding door not working toilet sliding door not working as well, and we were offered 2 toilet rolls. Estate management was kind on our arrival, Saturday as well but was very impatient with us when we needed the codes to exit she even dropped our call, we were helped by her husband as we called again.

The fact that we are charged a penalty fee of 500 for the noise, and if the apartment caters for a group of 6 people ,then they should expect the noise.
