Very good
Pros:

The view from the balcony was great. The bed was comfortable and shower good. The owner was very welcoming and was able to give directions to various points of interest. Oh - and a stunning sunset view from the rooftop!

Cons:

It felt a little basic. Nowhere to put your luggage except on the floor - could do with a stand. And no water/kettle etc which was the first time on my trip and would’ve just made it better value.

Exceptional
Pros:

Great views from the room, the restaurant and the rooftop. Only a short walk to Jungle Beach and also walking distance to Unawatuna beach. Everything in the room is new, it was really clean and good airconditioning. Nice hot shower and chairs on the balcony to relax. The host was super friendly and helped us with our bustickets to Negombo.

Value for money, clean and beautiful with a very friendly host
Pros:

The room was very good value for money, it was spotless and clean with a great aircon and mosquito net.
It had an incredible view from the roof where you can have sunset drinks and meals.
It was a short walk to Unawatuna and to Jungle Beach.
The host, Ranga, is a great guy who is always willing to help and very accommodating.

Pros:

Beautiful view, close to the jungle beach and nice walk to Unawatuna beach as well. The host is friendly. The room is very clean and has a comfortable bed.

Food needs some improvement but the rest was good!

gorgeous view, very comfortable bed, beautiful linen, warm and welcoming staff

Cons:

it’s a little far to walk to the closest restaurant but Thks tiks always around and easy if you have transport

More than amazing!!!
Pros:

First of all: the family who runs this hotel are so kind!!!
If you want a hotel close to the city, but in a very quiet place with a very relaxing beach (where you can snorkel and see a lot of underwater animals, octopus, seasnakes, pufferfish and so on) this is the place!
Also: the dinner at the hotel is very good! We ate some very good fishes prepared with love, you can taste it. If you ask them the day before they will get it fresh from the market.
The view at the rooftop balcony is amazing. We did see a lot of lightning and stars and a very beautifull sunset.
Please book here, you will not regret it!
