Lux Quadruple Media City MUFC Salford

They asked for a £250.00 deposit which was sent and when asked back to sent a partial one, stating that I harassed them just because i asked for the refund back. Still having a dispute with paypal in terms of my full deposit.

The place was extremely dirty, bedding hadnt been changed, towels were used and not washed.
Contacted them about not having light in the room and they never got back, we had to book somewhere else and spend double the money.
Please do not stay in the place unless you want to loose your deposit.

First of all, description was misleading- it is not in media city- far from it! It is the also the direct opposite of Lux. Be aware that they send you an email on the morning of the check in to ask for a £250 deposit . After paying this, they claimed we did not pay and left us stuck in Manchester after driving 4 hours . They then eventually admitted their mistake and sent us check in details .
Also,be aware the phone number of the property is fake and does not work. You can only communicate by email or booking.com messaging
The room smelt damp, was dirty and dingy. Don’t be fooled by the pictures- it’s the tiniest space you’ve ever been in. The bathroom seemed okay till we had to take showers the next morning. Halfway through my daughter’s bath, a low pressure light came on and the shower stopped and wouldn’t come back on. I had to use her water bottle to get water from the tap to finish her shower. The water came back on after 20mins. I ran the shower again and it kept bringing on the low pressure light at intervals. The shower didn’t stay in for more than 3 minutes at a time. This went on for almost two hours . During this time, we were having back and forth messages with the property who kept claiming there was nothing wrong, despite sending clear videos.
For our own sanity and to be able to get on with our day. We had to book an emergency airbnb and the owner graciously allowed us to check in at 12noon so we could have our showers.
We checked out of this horrible place. Etc morning even though we had booked four nights. About 24 hours after we had checked out, the vendor then emails to say there is a spare bath room somewhere we could use! Why did they not offer us that when we were stuck? I suspect they only said that to cover up their failings.
We had to raise a dispute with PayPal to be able to get our deposit back after 3 weeks .
Avoid this property and this business at all costs!

The room was dirty tv did not work blinds on window broken shower had scalding hot water you could not turn down dirty washing in sick bathroom door did not close broken cupboard door in bathroom and back door did not lock complaints put in but completely ignored from both parties
