Pros:

Welcome, food and service with very clean room

Cons:

The pub is on a corner with a major road and amount of traffic travelling through on the A56.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Lovely food, good service, friendly folk.
Pros:

Stayed overnight, having walked there, as part of a multi day walk along the canal. Had dinner and breakfast there, and all four of us thought the food was excellent. Pub was great as used by locals, and not just for eating.

Cons:

We did book two deluxe rooms with a bath. Only one room had a bath so not sure we got the deluxe option, but we were happy enough, and didn't mention it.

A good stopover whilst cycling from Liverpool to Leeds along the canal.
Pros:

I like the rooms, the bar , restaurant, food, selection of beers and staff.

Cons:

Moderno, limpio y muy buen desayuno

Cons:

Estaba al lado de la carretera y había algo de ruido, pero nada exagerado. La ducha no funcionaba bien

GREAT STAY; WILL RETURN
Greeted warmly & escorted to my room
Felt safe as a solo female
Great night sleep in my very comfortable room
Greeted warmly again at breakfast & served an excellent breakfast (Thanks to the chef!)
The housekeeper even returned a toiletry item I had a accidentally left behind
Lovely decor all around too plus on-site parking
I had trialed staying over night before meetings in the area the day after but will definetly do this again

Great location, friendly, breakfast delicious.
Pros:

Brilliant room - design was very different and loved it. Breakfast options really good. Lovely old building.

Cons:

Only slight negative was traffic noise, but having windows open it was expected. Could do with some kind of covering on the windows as needed curtains closed when getting dressed.

Cosy, friendly, exceptional food
Pros:

A lovely pub punching above expectations. Friendly clean and welcoming and the food is exceptional, I wished is was there to try more meals on the menu.

Cons:

Only a matter of preference that the mattress was a little too hard for my liking, but that's my preference and shouldn't deter from an exceptional place
