Pros:

This was my first time to Costa Rica. Monika and Frank couldn’t have been better hosts. She also picked me up and dropped me off at the airport at a very reasonable price. The room was quiet, comfortable with its own Mini-Split. I had my own fridge and could cook there if I wanted to and could do laundry if needed. There is a nice Restaurant in walking distance with great food and use of the pool. The beach is also within walking distance. This property is very close to Tamarindo and other smaller towns. They helped me book a couple of excursions. It was Just an overall great experience for me. Nice place, great people, great area! Thumbs up for sure!

Exceptional
Pros:

First and foremost - amazing hosts. Super nice and accommodating all our requests, extremely welcoming and warm. It felt like I was visiting family, not like just another vacation stay.


The villa has amazing architecture. Inclined, circular ceiling in bathroom, windows facing Forrest, hot tub, red and blue illumination, almost 360- balcony, around second floor. It truly felt fairytellish.

Also, I will be missed if has not mentioned Sky ( and his furry friend:)).

To cut a long story short - reserve this facility and say thanks later.

It was truly a highlight of our 3 week stay in Costa Rica.

Great Place Hope you find a time Slot - often booked out
Pros:

Great Location, very remote in the forest. you will be into the Family. Restaurants and Beach in walking distance. we got a Great breakfast on the terrace.

Cons:

the current location in the booking.com map is wrong, the real location is like 5 km more North.
make sure you contact the Host to get a Google Maps location
then still the Drive is adventurous - do it with day light and give it some time!
but its worth it

Had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning!
Pros:

This lovely home is close to some of Nicoya peninsula's most beautiful beaches, all within walking distance, fun to explore Playas Zapotillal, Real, Conchal and Brasalito beach. The hosts are friendly, accomodating, provided a wonderful breakfast!! Fresh fruits, juice, cheese, eggs. The jungle thrives with howler monkeys, birds; the beaches are pristine, quiet, shaded. I've explored the Tamarindo/Playa Grande area and this area is so much more special, quiet, relaxing.

Cons:

The house was hard to find as I missed the message from the host about communicating through What's app. Google Maps said the location couldn't be found so check What's app before you arrive!
The hosts do not accept credit card at this time, fortunately I had cash and discussed this may be a problem with future guests so they are working on a method to accept credit card payments.
