Zentral gelegen aber sehr laut, Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Preis Leistung in Ordnung
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr zentral in playa del Carmen. In wenigen Gehminuten ist man sowohl am Strand als auch auf der Haupttouristenstrasse mit vielen Restaurants, Bars und Geschäften.
Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett.

Das Frühstück ist in einem anderen Hotel 8 Gehminuten entfernt. Uns hat das nicht gestört und das Frühstück war sehr lecker und auch hier das Personal sehr nett

Cons:

Durch die zentrale Lage ist es sehr laut.
In der ersten Nacht (es war ein Samstag) hatten wir Zimmer Nummer 19 und es was unerträglich. In einer Bar nebenan war ein Live Auftritt einer Band der bis 6 Uhr morgens ging und durch die schlecht isolierten Fenster war es, als würde die Band vor dem Bett spielen. Wir haben kein Auge zugetan.
Außerdem war eins der Betten im Zimmer total durchgelegen und die Matratze schief.
Wir haben daraufhin am nächsten Tag gefragt ob wir Zimmer wechseln können, was uns dann genehmigt wurde (danke hierfür an das nette Personal). Wir hatten dann Zimmer Nummer 10 im Erdgeschoss, das zwar kleiner war aber hier war es nicht so laut. Es war immer ich laut. Aber mit Ohrstöpsel konnte man hier schlafen.

Sauberkeit insgesamt in Ordnung aber könnte schon besser sein. In der ersten Nacht hatten wir fleckige Bettlaken

No recomiendo el "Hotel"
Pros:

Me gusto la ubicación, hamaca y aire acondicionado

Cons:

el ruido exterior , por le precio no corresponde las instalaciones antiguas, no tiene ducha de agua caliente, no tiene acceso ni a restaurante ni a cocina cercano a la habitación y mucho ruido externo que. no deja dormir en las noches. Por favor por precio,recomiendo otros hoteles cercanos

Cons:

The room itself was ok, but there is a lot of noise during the night until after 3:00 from bars around. Very very noisy. I had to move somewhere else after one night

Very pleased!
Pros:

Best location and we loved the “Mexican look” of it, cosy rather than the standard white, bright and having to go through crowds of people.
The hotel was peaceful and quiet with warm lights. Had a terrace which is very important for us also a very comfortable hammock with palms view 😍 Oh, how relaxing! We miss that!
The cleaning staff cleaned our room very well and the bedding was spotless! Thank you!
We’d definitely stay there again!

Cons:

The WiFi…kept disconnecting especially in the evening/night time.

Pros:

Stayed for friday/saturday night. I had room 14. King bed. Overall, it was pretty quiet, but it did get loud on Friday/Saturday night. I would recommend this space for younger people or partiers. I never had an issue with noise. Location was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Had a fridge. My windows locked. The outdoor space is very cool. Everyone has a hammock, and there is a cool community area. I never had time to check it out, but overall, the space was beautiful, and yes, the cat gets very vocal at night if you run into it. My room was cool, fan worked well. Not sure if there was AC but I was never hot. Staff was not overly helpful (like, don't expect this to be like a Hyatt or Marriot) but they were still very pleasant and assisted me with little things I needed. I would stay here again.

Cons:

Nitpicking, but it would have been great to have a full body mirror in the room. And I feel like water should be in the room as well. When I asked for water late at night, at first the receptionist said they didn't have any (even though there were whole cases stacked right behind me. He said they were for another hotel.) It wasn't that serious to me, but I went back to my room and a few minutes later, he knocked and brought two bottles of water which I was very thankful for!
