Hôtel bien situé
Pros:

L'hôtel très bien situé pour se promener à pied. La place de parking très utile, car le stationnement est payant à Playa Del Carmen. A 2 pas de l'hôtel il y a un petit restaurant (La Jarra) où prendre le petit déjeuner (je le conseille fortement c'est très bon avec un bon rapport qualité/prix. Pour info, l'hôtel ne fait pas de petit déjeuner.
Les lits sont confortables

Cons:

L'hôtel est très proche de la principale avenue. Il faut savoir qu'au Mexique les hôtels ne sont pas insonorisés. Donc la musique des bars on l'entend très bien dans les chambres jusqu'à 2h30 du matin.

hola, la mejor ubicación, excelente, en seguridad a los huespedes no nos colocan brazaletes y cualquie persona puede entrar por la puerta principal sin saber si es huesped, o entrar a una habitación e igual meterse a la piscina, las toallas para uso personal manchadas y viejas, percudidas, mal vistas a simple vista, a mi me toco varios dias, manchadas, ni quiero saber de que, el personal de servicio muy atento muy amables y agradables. X LA UBICACION A LA PAR HAY UN BAR CON EL VOLUMEN MUY MUY ALTO, y nos toco cerca en pared y media y era mucha el sonido q costo dormir, no se las demás habitaciones. pero en si el hotel muy bonito y la decoración y cerca de todo.

Cons:

las toallas manchadas y se veian descuidadas en la limpieza, percudidas, el sonido del bar casi a la par del hotel, con el volumen demasiado alto a altas horas de la madrugada, costaba dormir.

True Mexican Hacienda
Pros:

We loved the hotel! It is very spacious, comfy beds and clean linen, spacious shower with a very high pressure. Strong AC also. It feels like you are in a true mexican hacienda. There is, of course room for improvement but the price/quality wise is 100% worth it!

It is indeed noisy because it is on 5th avenue almost and night life is big here. If you want to be that central, it’s hard to avoid the noise. Also something we found discomfortable is the fact that you don’t have wi fi in the room, just common areas.
It looks like the hotel was made to be very luxurious long time ago, it shows that in the quality of the building and furniture in it, there is however a small feeling that the place needs a bit of refreshment. This said, everything everywhere is clean!

One thing that in the end left us with a negative feeling is the fact that they tried to accuse us of smoking in the room and charge us 1,000 pesos. Yes, I am a smoker but I have never smoked in the room and I have respected the rules. In the end, I convinced them that this is a lie and we were not charged, but smokers beware.

We would definitely stay at the hotel again and we highly recommend!
