Pros:

I had a pleasant stay at Kumari Star Inn. The location is great, with a lovely hotel and peaceful garden area. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. A special thanks to the chef, who went the extra mile by working beyond usual hours to prepare our meals — really appreciated! They also helped arrange vehicles for our travel, which made our trip much more convenient. Overall, a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommended!

The room itself isn't expensive. But I think they could use some renovations and at least cleaning the rooms. It'

Perfect location, all the cafes and the embankment are nearby, not noisy. Some of the staff are very nice.

Cons:

Let's start with the fact that we arrived at the hotel at 5pm and the rooms weren’t ready, cleaning was happening right before our eyes, although check-in is usually at 2pm.

The room wasn't cleaned even once over the course of four days. We had to beg for toilet paper every time. There was only a shower towel in the room, and the water on the first day was cool, not hot. The hotel clearly needs renovation: the walls are stained, and I saw a cockroach in the bathroom once.

Also on checkout day, the payment terminal wasn't working, so we couldn't pay by card. They kept us waiting, telling us the terminal would be working soon, and we ended up wasting time and had to run to the nearest ATM to withdraw money, as we were already late for our flight.

I had a wonderful stay at Kumari Star Inn. The hotel is very comfortable with a nice and welcoming environment. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety to choose from, and the staff were all extremely pleasant, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. It’s truly a great place to stay, offering both comfort and warmth. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
