Hotel Dang Khoa

A warm welcome with thoughtful touches, consistent service by Hằng, and attention to guests’ needs (motorbike, indications, water supplies, transport to ferry, etc) without ever being intrusive. I highly recommend it. Ideally located, close to all the historic and natural sites. Generous local family owners worth supporting.

Die Besitzerin ist wirklich super nett und herzlich. Sie spricht wenig Englisch, aber das war kein Problem. Sie hat uns lieber Weise kostenlos ein grösseres Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir haben auch immer freies Wasser bekommen und unsere Wäsche wurde kostenlos gewaschen. Also ein super Service. Das Zimmer war gross.
Die Lage des Hotels ist wiklich sehr zentral. Viele Restaurants, scooter Vermietung, Cafes, Markt alles in der unmittelbaten Nähe.

Centraal in de stad met een grote supermarkt aan de overkant. Gastvrij onthaal, transfer vanaf vliegveld was prima geregeld. Restaurants en bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Aardige en zorgzame gastvrouw
Kamer prima met goede airco, koelkast en voldoende ruimte.

Everything! I really loved my room, it was clean, spacious and had everything I needed. I loved the balcony you could have your morning coffee or a couple of beers at night. Koah and his family are really genuine, lovely people and arranged cheap transportation to and from the airport for me as they don’t do Grab on the island. Koah also took me a free tour to the museum and tiger cages and a lift to the National Park. Koah’s Dad also makes excellent coffee! It is also next to a supermarket and the night market is close by. I really loved my stay here and would highly recommend, highly recommend.

Chủ khách sạn rất niềm nở và chu đáo. Khách sạn Đăng khoa nằm ở trung tâm thị trấn, ra chợ Côn Đảo, đi tham quan hoặc đi ăn đều rất thuận lợi.

The stay at Hotel Dang Khoa will be one of my favorite memories from all my travels, especially Vietnam. The hosts were the kindest people I have ever met. The hospitality was incredible, whatever you need they will find a way to get it for you. They have bikes on site to rent. They will do your laundry during your stay. The rooms had plenty of space and cool down really fast with the AC. The bathrooms had plenty of space and had shampoo, soap, and toothbrushing kits.
A friend and I traveled together and had an unexpected situation come up. The hosts constantly checked on us to make sure we were ok, went to the pharmacy to get some things for us, and even brought us dinner one night while we were stuck in bed. The treated us like family and we couldn’t thank them enough for it. I’ll never stay anywhere else when visiting Con Dao

We stayed in the family rooms (201 & 301) and really enjoyed our time here. The rooms are spacious and clean with a private bathroom. The beds are quite firm, but still comfortable.
What really makes this place special is the host family. They went above and beyond, helping with laundry, organising electric scooters, arranging airport transport, and even bringing us bánh mì for breakfast before we left.
A small heads-up like many smaller towns, there are morning announcements over loudspeakers starting around 5:30am and finishing by 6:30am. It’s worth bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, though it’s otherwise very quiet at night.
The location is super convenient, right across from the main supermarket, about a 10-minute walk to the beach, and close to lots of restaurants, cafés, and night markets. Great value for money and genuinely lovely people. We definitely recommend staying here.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questa struttura.
La posizione è eccellente, vicina ai luoghi di interesse della città (prigioni,spiaggia e mercato). La camera era pulita, tranquilla e piacevole anche solo per poter osservare la vita quotidiana dell'isola. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e premuroso. La signora ci accoglieva al rientro dei nostri giri offrendoci sempre un piatto di frutta e acqua. Si premurava di lavarci i vestiti e cambiarci le lenzuola gratuitamente. Ci ha dato utili suggerimenti per cenare e ci ha organizzato il percorso per il porto ad un prezzo inferiore della metà rispetto a quello praticato dai taxi. In poche parole: sembrava di stare a casa propria!

Es fällt schwer, auszudrücken, wie dankbar wir für unseren Aufenthalt sind. Wir haben nicht erwartet, was für wunderbare Tage wir auf Con Dao haben würden - und das lag nicht nur an der traumhaften Insel. Die Hilfsbereitschaft, Gastfreundschaft und herzliche Art der Gastgeber unserer Unterkunft ist wirklich besonders. Wir wurden in allen Fragen und Bedürfnissen unterstützt und zuvorkommend behandelt. Nicht nur der kostenlose Wäscheservice, geschenktes Obst, reibungslose Unterbringung oder die Organisierung vom Flughafenshuttle ist gut zu haben - am Ende unserer Reise ist unser ausgeliehenes Moped von Affen kaputt gemacht worden und unsere Gastgeberin hat alles für uns organisiert und uns für die Nerven noch zwei Bier und Snacks geschenkt. Ein Aufenthalt hier - absolut empfehlenswert!

Très chouette petit hôtel en plein centre, accès à la plage en quelques minutes à pied. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, et font tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Vous avez de l'eau gratuite tous les jours, et la possibilité de faire une lessive aussi gratuitement. La chambre est confortable, climatisation fonctionne bien, petit frigo, douche bien chaude avec beaucoup de pression... J'ai aussi loué un scooter avec eux à bon prix. Excellent rapport qualité-prix !
