Bella Vida Resort, Uluwatu

Obwohl das Hotel erst vor etwa sieben Monaten eröffnet wurde, merkt man an einigen Stellen bereits Abnutzungserscheinungen. Die Poolhandtücher hatten Flecken und waren teilweise noch feucht.
Das Hotel ist praktisch nur mit dem Auto oder Roller erreichbar, und auf dem Weg dorthin muss man mit viel Verkehr rechnen.

Insgesamt hatten wir dennoch einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und sehen großes Potenzial, wenn auf diese kleinen Details mehr geachtet wird.

Clean style room with a few drawbacks: no privacy curtains, only blackout curtains (there’s no way to keep the room bright unless giving up privacy), no TV, no mirror in the bedroom. Everything in the bathroom was designed for very tall guests.
Nice outdoor area, but the frigobar is positioned outside the room and had very limited food and drink options. Unfortunately, the pillows, bedsheets, and towels had an unpleasant smell, and housekeeping didn’t collect the rubbish daily. On one occasion, when face towels hadn’t been left in the room, staff brought me used/wet towels! The food at the restaurant was fairly simple and left something to be desired.
Communication was a bit challenging and some of the staff struggled to understand requests or give clear instructions.
The location is quite isolated and the roads leading to the beach and other busy areas are in extremely poor condition, making it inconvenient to get around. Not convenient for solo travelers, though it might suit families better.

De weg die ervoor langs loopt is best druk, maar dat is in heel Uluwatu zo, je hoort daar verder weinig van in het complex.

We had a deluxe room with windows facing directly onto the pool, which unfortunately doesn't offer much privacy. The room lacks semi-transparent curtains. When we didn't want people at the pool or in the rooms on the other side to see us in our room, we had to draw the blackout curtains, which blocked the daylight and made the room dark. The breakfast included in the room price was very basic. In a four-star hotel, an extra charge of 25k required for milk for coffee or fresh juice feels like a scam. The hotel is located by a quite crowded and very bumpy side road, which generally reflects the nightmare of getting around Uluwatu and its surroundings. You have to expect that commuting to the center by scooter takes about 25-30 minutes.

- Breakfast we were served uncooked eggs. They have beautiful pictures of food online but after trying several things we feel scammed.
- I always like to go for breakfast included and over the period of 1 month of traveling, this is the first time i felt forced to go elsewhere for breakfast
-Majority of staff is unable to speak English so it is hard to ask for help
- rarely clean the outside terrace properly or replace the water. Had to ask several times to have new water in the extreme heat
- Horrible wifi
- Made some time related appointments with them and they failed to live up to their promises, resulting in my girlfriend having to wait 1 hour before i could pick her up.

The food and the staff had walkie talkies on so loud that you could hear it all day. Makes it hard to relax by the pool.

We missed fruits for breakfast, but it was possible to ask staff for fruit plate for 2€ and we got it couple times even for free. So they fixed it
