Good value: excellent hotel, excellent location, and affordable. Memorable.
Pros:

I had just disembarked from the ship early in the morning. My room was ready when I got to the front desk. Thank you to Xavier, the concierge, who delivered my bags as soon as my room was assigned, and Caja, the front desk, who made the check-in process easy and quick. Both the bathroom and the room were large and tastefully furnished. The Nespresso coffee maker and coffee pods provided was excellent. The coffee was a great espresso, but I should have asked about the cream. The pillows have the perfect amount of give, the mattress is incredibly comfy, and the linens were fresh and opulent. The first-floor room had a pleasant outlook and was peaceful.

Location: Sydney Harbor, The Rocks, the promenade, dining options, and shopping are all just a short distance from the hotel. The Opera House is accessible via the promenade on foot or bicycle. The commuter ferry wharf and public bus and tram terminals are located along the promenade. This is a well-liked spot to hang out.

Cons:

I ordered a steak with fries, something from the kids’ menu, and a spicy Bloody Mary at the bar rather than outdoors seating area. The place was short-staffed. While the steak was tough, the fries were great.

Pier One was Sensational
Pros:

The view and central location was sensational. Walking distance to the Rocks, Circular Rand Opera house. The Sydney Harbour Bridge View was so close we could see the bridge climbers clearly.
The service was top rate, all staff very helpful and friendly.
The room had everything we needed and more and the beds super comfortable.
Definitely be staying with Pier One again.

Great location on the harbor. Amazing views from room, bar and restaurant.
Pros:

Outstanding location. We had a view of the harbor that was spectacular. Bar and restaurant overlooking the harbor was fantastic. Excellent, responsive staff.

Lifts were slow. indoor bar area could do with more seating for large crowds, particularly in adverse weather conditions.
