Zinzi's All-Inclusive Homestay

Nous avons passé 3 nuits chez Jar et Ruth c’est une véritable expérience dans le voyage. Un moment de rencontre et de partage de leur quotidien. Nos filles étaient ravies de rencontrer Pia, Zinzi et Julia elles ont joué, cuisiné etc. Ruth cuisine super bien. C’est vraiment un plaisir de les avoir rencontrés !

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par la famille de Jar et Ruth. Une expérience incroyable avec eux et de beaux moments d'échange !

Une famille au grand cœur, qui nous a accueillis à bras ouverts dans leur maison. La chambre est simple et très propre. Douche froide mais largement compensée par la chaleur de chacun des membres de la famille ! Les repas sont copieux et très bons.

On a adoré vous rencontrer, jouer, nager, visiter, faire de la poterie, apprendre la langue et les coutumes indonésiennes à vos côtés ! Merci pour votre accueil généreux et joyeux, ce fut un bonheur de découvrir Lombok grâce à vous.

Wir wurden von Jar und seiner Familie unglaublich herzlich empfangen und beherbergt. Das Essen war fantastisch und hätte immer für doppelt so viele Leute gereicht.
Wer gerne erfahren will, wie man in Zentrallombok wirklich lebt, ist hier am richtigen Ort. Dazu gehören Moscheen, Hühner und Hähne und eine einfache Ausstattung.
Jar hat uns gegen ein kleines Entgeld sein Dorf, Tetebatus Reisfelder, eine Töpferei und einen traditionellen Stockkampf gezeigt. Wir haben einen unvergesslichen Tag erlebt und würden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen.

Absolument tout. C’est le meilleur moment de notre voyage qui nous marquera pour toujours.
Jar, Rus et ses enfants nous ont accueilli comme si on était de leur famille.
Rus cuisine incroyablement bien et nous a fait à manger tout le long du séjour. Nous n’avons jamais manqué de rien.
C’est confortable et très propre.
Ils nous ont fait visiter autour de chez eux, nous ont parlé de leur culture, traditions. Ils étaient au petit soin pour que nous manquions jamais de rien.
J’espère pouvoir y retourner un jour ! Je recommande ++++++ de venir ici

Se fut une belle expérience d être chez l habitant nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison l acceuil très chaleureux les différentes activités cette famille à tout donné pour nous elle s est plié en 4 super expérience de partage pour de très beaux souvenirs. Le repas varié et délicieux très bon rapport qualité prix

Jar et Rus sont des hôtes incroyables, généreux, serviables, qui vous accueillent comme si vous êtes des membres de leur famille. Ils nous ont fait découvrir la vie locale en nous invitant à un mariage, nous organisant une journée pour découvrir les différentes cultures aux alentours (riz, ananas, piment, concombre), et les cascades.
La cuisine de Rus est délicieuse et abondante.
Zinzi, André, Zilvia, leurs enfants, sont tout aussi gentils et prêts à passer du temps avec vous.
Le homestay est authentique, au cœur de leur maison, la chambre et la salle de bain sont grandes et confortables.
Le rapport qualité / prix est le meilleur que vous puissiez trouver.

Really amazing local food, always ate very well and certainly never went hungry. Very nice family. Can help you arrange activities in the local area. Overall had a very good time here. Would be good for families/larger groups aswell.

We booked the homestay last minute. But Jar the host was very welcoming along with his wife and children. They were so hospitable and friendly. We also had delicious home cooked meals every day. The rooms are basic, no aircon but clean. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking to experience what daily life is like in Lombok

We have spent 5 nights in Zinzi homestay and we loved every minute of it! This is an experience that has definitely shaped us as travellers. You are catapulted in a heartwarming family context. They treat you with the best hospitality possible. You are fed many times a day with exceptional dishes made with love from Rose Riadah and Meme and if you want you can cook with them and witness how they make the best food we have ever eaten since starting travelling. The room where you stay is exceptionally clean and smells fresh - you don't really need much more, the essentials are set up for you in the room. The house is in a village, 5 mins walk from a supermarket and the local market and If you hire a scooter surrender by ricefields. At 4 am you have the Imam singing and praying for 30 mins and you will certainly hear him every single time but we got used to it and we appreciate the real Lombok experience. Jar, the owner, a very sweet and funny man, will entertain you for hours if you wish to and will propose you activities to do nearby ( all worthwhile). You will soon feel like a local :) on our last day we organised a family trip to pink beach in the south of the island and we hired a big van and brought all the family with us (15 people) - it was a memorable day.
We will always bring our Lombok family in our heart and we can't wait to see them again soon. Thank you Jar and family for everything!

Wat een unieke ervaring met deze bijzondere gastvrije familie. Een heerlijk rustige plek, weg van het toerisme en back to basic. Vanaf aankomst werden we al hartelijk ontvangen en kwamen de eerste hapjes met thee op tafel.
Het gezin met 3 kinderen gaf ons een kijkje in hun dagelijkse leven. Met Jar (papa Zinzi) hadden we gezellige gesprekken en vertelde hij over hun leven in Lombok en de opbouw van hun homestay. Met Purit bracht hij ons naar prachtige rijstvelden, zagen we hoe vrouwen sarongs maakten en woonden we de tradionele Sasak stickfighting bij. De maaltijden die mama Zinzi bereidde met Zinzi en oma: ongelooflijk veel en heerlijk! Wat hebben wij genoten. Onze jarige dochter werd zelfs verrast met gezang en kaarsjes. De avonden waren gezellig, en hadden de kinderen veel lol met elkaar.
Oudste dochter Zinzi deed het fantastisch. We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad. Bedankt en zeker een aanrader.

Very friendly and helpful family. My kids loved it there and wanted to even stay more.
The area was a bit upon hill, which had very fresh air. Everything was fresh and natural.

If you want a true Lombok (Sasak) experience, this is the perfect place to stay. The homestay is modest but very clean, plus what makes it special is the wonderful family with their huge welcoming hearts.
The home-cooked food was absolutely delicious—and if you’d like something different, you can simply buy special ingredients at the local market, and they’ll prepare a fantastic meal for you.
They were even thoughtful enough to offer me earplugs for the early morning prayers, which shows how much they care about their guests.
During my stay, I truly felt like part of their extended family—taking it slow, walking around the rice fields, and enjoying the rhythm of everyday village life.

Jar and Rusmini went out of their way to welcome us into their home, we were greeted with warmth and immediately the delicious food began. The family were kind enough to invite us to eat with them and spend time chatting and snacking with them and the extended family. The tour we did with Jar was great and showed the rural life of Lombok. The food and hospitality were the highlight of this stay. If you are looking for a genuine homestay you won't regret coming here. As already mentioned in other reviews, expect an early wake-up from the Mosques and cockerels next door (4am ish). It didn‘t detract from our stay. Thank you Jar and Rusmini for an unforgettable stay, we miss you and the banquets!
