Poor, terrible and frustrating
Pros:

The property contacted us a few days before our arrival to say that the rooms we had booked were not available. They offered us a night in another one of their hotels in South B for one night

Cons:

The parklands hotel was fine; the South B one did not have running water, had a bar playing Loud music all night next door, sockets not working, etc.

Our stay at The Ivory South B was extremely disappointing. We were only informed just before our flight departed that our original booking at The Ivory Hotel could not be honoured due to overbooking, and we were relocated to this sister property. We accepted the change expecting accommodation of a similar standard, but unfortunately that was not the case.
The hotel appeared unfinished, poorly maintained, and generally unclean. My colleague's room had clearly not been cleaned before our arrival. The bed linen was dirty, the bathroom still had hair on the walls, and a poorly fitted window allowed excessive street noise into the room all night.
My room also had several issues. There was no running water in the bathroom basin, the shower temperature constantly alternated between very hot and cold, and the room was also very noisy, making it difficult to rest.
The experience was so poor that we decided to check out early and book alternative accommodation at our own expense.
I am genuinely surprised by the current Booking.com rating, as our experience was nowhere near what a score of 9 would suggest. Based on our stay, I would not recommend this property until significant improvements are made to its cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience.

Didnt like it.
Cons:

Slept for a night and the hotel did not meat my expectations.
They did not provide an additional towel to dry hands.
No shower gel
Refused late check instead wanted me pay for a whole day.
Basic breakfast nothing special.
Staff not experienced.

Overall did not like it. Will not be returning.

Poor Experience
Pros:

The property is conveniently located to access Westlands and Parklands areas of Nairobi.

Cons:

They didn’t honour their booking and contacted us a couple of days before we arrived to offer us the first night in their South B branch. With very little time to rearrange our stay we reluctantly accepted. The South B hotel did not have running water in some rooms, no flushes in some rooms, no hot water and is located adjacent on a bar that played loud music till 7.00 am!!!!
