Quiet, quick, and hospitable.
Pros:

The staff are super friendly. There was one lady who wasn't quite nice but everyone else was. The room is clean and spacious. The onsen area is heavenly. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this hotel, the experience was amazing.

Cons:

Our room had a poor smell (like body odour) when we brought this up to the staff and asked if we could change rooms they said that this was the smell of the tatami floors and that all the rooms smelt like that. We had stayed in rooms with tatami floors before and they did not smell like this. Once we opened up some windows it helped a little, but wish the staff would have been a bit more accommodating rather than suggesting this was normal.

Pros:

Tutto. Struttura particolare in cui vivi la vera essenza del Giappone. Si lasciano le scarpe all’ingresso negli armadi e si cammina con i calzini e già questo è per me meraviglioso. Colazione variegata, anche giapponese, tutto ottimo. ONSEN meraviglioso, esperienza da vivere. Camera piccola ma con tutti i comfort. Molto soddisfatta. Posizione centrale accanto alla stazione di Kyoto.
