Our stay at Onyado Nono Kyoto was a wonderful experience and we would happily stay again.

One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast, which offered an impressive variety of dishes. While the continental selection and croissants could be improved slightly, this was completely compensated by the excellent fresh Japanese cuisine available every morning. The quality and authenticity of the Japanese options made breakfast a memorable experience.

We also loved the spacious triple room, which was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Kyoto. Another great touch was the evening food service and the ice cream available throughout the day, which added to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.

The onsen was a huge plus and one of the best parts of the stay — clean, relaxing, and very enjoyable after long walks around the city.

Our child especially appreciated the easygoing and cozy atmosphere of being able to walk around the hotel without shoes, which made the stay feel even more relaxing and unique.

Finally, the location is excellent, conveniently situated not far from the station, making it easy to access transportation and explore Kyoto comfortably.

Overall, this hotel offers a fantastic combination of comfort, Japanese hospitality, and great facilities.

Pros:

Very authentic experience with the hotel overall, and the onsen is good, too. Very nice Japanese breakfast, lots of choice. Free evening ramen was unexpectedly good.

Tolles Hotel, perfekt zum Abschalten.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist toll, die Ausstattung und das Onsen sind absolut genial. Es gibt kostenloses Eis und abends sogar Soba. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und das Personal spricht gutes Englisch, sodass es einfach war Dinge zu klären. Das Onsen war geräumig und wirklich toll, wir haben es fast jeden Tag genutzt. Auch das Frühstück konnte überzeugen, wobei ich mich über mehr vegetarische Auswahl freuen würde.
Die Lage idt soweit okay, bis zum Hauptbahnhof sind es knapp 10 Minuten, ein Bus fährt vor der Tür. Allerdings befinden sich die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten ein ganzes Stück weg.

Cons:

Beim Frühstück war es zum Teil unfassbar voll und man musste eine Stunde auf einen Platz warten, um dann im Saal nochmal anzustehen.
