Fairly close to Edmonton / Enfield
Arrived at the property at 6.30pm (said between 6-7pm I would arrive) but no one was there. Called and messaged. The owner then called to apologise. Room was not clean / ready so I could have another room instead. That room has no shower / bathroom so had to use the house bathroom. The bathroom was dirty, utensils weren't washed, and I didn't want to use the coffee / sugar etc as no sachets, so I didn't know if they were contaminated. It's an HMO basically and without private washing facilities which I paid for.
Compact but had all the necessities, good transport links and plenty of services nearby, check-in handled smoothly.
Narrow and steep stairs may be a problem for those with mobility issues but fine otherwise. Shower water pressure was poor on the top floor, but manageable.
Welcoming & a good atmosphere. Very quiet (much appreciated as I had a two day course to attend for work the weekend of my stay). Super clean. Skylight window and electric fan in room much appreciated with the hot weather! Great size room; great facilities and things like washing-up liquid & appear towels also much appreciated. Comfy bed. Great shower-room.
