Perfect one night stay close to the motorway.
Pros:

This was our second stay at this hotel. The room had been recently refurbished and was lovely, clean and warm.
The evening meal was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Cons:

Nothing!

Great fod, great staff, great value for money
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome, the breakfast was delicious and included in the room price making for excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend the old stables, a very well run establishment.

A lovely place to stay where a warm welcome greets you

Well worth the money and a great pace to stay.
Pros:

Room was very clean and very spacious. Nice selection of tea and coffee. The bar and food were very good and i would recommend staying here.

Cons:

The pub closed early but it was at the end of October.

Cons:

I attended a wedding in a nearby venue. I was offered breakfast on the first morning but on the next day when I was travelling several hundred miles home, nobody was around to provide breakfast or offer an explanation. I posted the key for my room in the pub below. I was completely alone in the building and was uncomfortable. No explanation was provided ahead.
The room is above a very noisy bar where loud music kept me awake. I wouldn’t recommend the accommodation to anyone.

Pros:

It was close to the motorway. Plenty of space for free parking. above pub premises but was quiet.

Cons:

It was more a pub than a hotel. The room was small, very basic and cold on arrival. Meal was pub food.

Cons:

Asked the barmaid twice and the the landlord if the heating could be checked as we couldn't get it to work. The following morning the landlord apologised saying he was not able to check it as it had been a busy evening!!! The room is very basic , dated, and grubby. After seeing other people's reviews I have to say I'm not sure if it was just our room. Would we stay again? Sorry but no chance!!!

Pros:

Super friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable sleep and a lovely breakfast. Great value for money!

Cons:

The room could do with some TLC/updating (vinyl floor lifting in bathroom, vanity desk damaged etc.) but for the cost of the room it was entirely satisfactory.
