Beautiful sanctuary for total relaxation
Pros:

If you want a secluded and private sanctuary away from the busy parts of Ahangama, then this is the place! Coupled with amazingly friendly staff, beautiful views, fantastic amenities, and a delicious food on site, this was the perfect end to our tour of Sri Lanka! From the moment we stepped inside we knew we were well taken care of, and nothing was too much for Kasun and the staff! Highly recommend spending at least a few nights here to completely relax and unwind.

Besides the obviously unique location and design, I have to point out probably the best cuisine we've had on the island for lunch or dinner options. The concept is centered around ecological values which is admirable for such an environment as Sri Lanka. The staff was very polite, mindful, kind and caring. Be mindful that it's on a hill and taller than its surroundings so if there are strong winds, they will be felt more on this property.

Cons:

Breakfast is a bit of a weird combination where they bring you all kind of breakfast options.

Excellent food & hotel design but poor service
Pros:

The Sri Lankan curry was excellent. Probably the best I have eaten in Sri Lanka. It is a beautifully designed and decorated hotel.

Cons:

A few suggestions:
1) need to improve the service, despite being the only customer, I had to ask for a kettle 4 times before it was delivered to my room. I was not told the water in the bathroom would be switched off. But after I queried, it was switched on again.
2) suggest to install wooden blinds in the bathroom to cover the floor to ceiling window (no privacy whether you shower or use the toilet)...was one of the main reasons, I checked out early after one night.
3) the manager and owner promised to re-imburse me for the days I didn't stay but more than a month later, this promise has not been honoured.

The best place. Beautiful location. Superb facilities and the kindest and most professional team we have met in Sri Lanka! The food was excellent and the place is has only four rooms that keeps it intimate and cozy

An exceptional place, an incredibly beautiful house in an amazing location. You truly feel like you’re a guest in an architect’s house. There are only 4 rooms on the round house. The luxury is in simplicity, beautiful materials, perfect service, delicious food. The staff is kind, discreet and helpful. We stayed there for 3 days for our honeymoon. The roundhouse is just a 10 minutes tuktuk drive away from Ahangama, which is very convenient for a dinner in town or a coffee by the beach.

Cons:

It’s hard to find anything negative to say about this hotel. One thing that comes to mind is that it would be super useful to have a water boiler to be able to make some tea in the room (or coffee)

Absolutely stunning property, with amazing views over the cinnamon and green forests. Rooms are able to be fully opened nature. Delicious food and staff were ao lovely and accomodating, wish we could have stayed longer!
