Die Lage - es war gut zu Fuß mit Koffern vom Parkhaus zu erreichen, nach wenigen hundert Metern mitten im Zentrum von Venedig und das Treiben auf dem Kanal zu aus dem Zimmer zu beobachten

Venedig ist nie leise, morgens um 6:30 beginnt die Beschickung, war der „Preis“ für eine Zimmer zum Kanal. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist wie Venedig ein bisschen morbide

Great staff in a good location definitely consider using this hotel.
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location for sightseeing. It was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The good breakfast set us up for our days of sightseeing. Venice is not the place to go if you don’t like walking!
We would recommend in addition to seeing the Doges Palace and the amazing Basilica that you visit Theatre Fenice. Also try and fit in a concert they are very accessible around the city. If you take a three islands tour make sure it includes good time on all the islands as we were not given enough time on Burano and Torcello. Hotel Al Sole is a great central point if you also want the trains and buses.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like.

I enjoyed Venice.
Pros:

Location was good. There were several very good restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. The breakfast provided by the hotel was good with a good variety of offerings.

Cons:

The room was a little small but adequate for 2-3 days.

The staff were super helpful, the room was huge and it had a bath. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. If the weather had been summer I'm sure the outside patio would be lovely

Minor thing but I didn't notice the bar ever being open but perhaps this was only on request?

Romantischer Palazzo
Pros:

Superzentral in der Nähe vom Bahnhof, Parkhaus und Ablegestelle am Canal Grande. Ein gemütliches Hotel mit gutem Frühstück und gemütlicher Bar. Ausstattung und Bad für 3 Sterne sehr gut und sehr sauber. Ausreichend Lokale, Eisdielen und Bars gleich ums Eck. Das Personal total freundlich und unheimlich hilfsbereit. Es war nur leider zu kurz. Wir hatten eine Juniorsuite, somit hatte unser Sohn, 12 Jahre alt, seine Privatsphäre. Am Zimmer Wasserkocher und Kapselkaffeemaschine. Minibar war ausreichend befüllt.
Wir kommen sicher wieder.
