Best location and service. Staff very nice. We enjoy very much. Budget friendly.

Rambler’s Hotel was my first choice though wanted to see if I’d be happy, comfortable there. I initially booked a two-night stay, then arranged for an entire month, and planning to extend that stay! The Deluxe Queen room is sufficient with comfortable bed, AC/Heating Unit, and work desk for my laptop – with strong, dependable WiFi. Lighting is great and outlets with universal sockets are scattered around the room - including next to the bed. The bathroom is huge with plenty of hot water. Location is prime on a side alley/street; removed from the Thamel circus yet a convenient walk to all that’s available – including Durbar Square and the historic area(s) of Kathmandu. Noise is usually minimal around the clock but also dependent on other guests, as the hotel stays quite busy, or nearby construction sites. Shalik, the owner, is open to suggestions and always welcoming when here, but it’s Binaya who’s around-the-clock, often a one-man show that will go above and beyond with any requests. I expect to be spending more time in Nepal and Rambler’s Hotel will certainly be my home base when in Kathmandu!

Great location, lovely breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights in Kathmandu before a flight out. Rooms were as advertised, the triple room was more spacious than expected. Location is great and overnight the rooms were relatively quiet for being in the middle of Thamel. WiFi was reliable. Staff was lovely. Breakfast was basic, but cooked fresh when we were ready to eat. We'd stay again!

スタッフがとても親切でした。不具合があったので部屋を変えて欲しいと要望したところ、快諾してくれました。朝食はシンプルですが美味しく、十分なものでした。タメルの南にあるので、少し南に行くとローカルな雰囲気も味わえて最高でした。
