The breakfast offer was not especially extensive and they had run out of a couple items. The full English was, however, freshly cooked and very enjoyable.

The room was in a dark, damp, tacky, poorly ventilated and badly converted stables. There was a nasty smell that remained the whole night that l put down to the damp conditions or from the old carpet. The cleaning was surface height only, all around the back and under the bed looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for years. The bathroom was in need of repair, skirting boards cracked and in need of paint, wall tiles broken and black mould in the grouting.

Not very clean, but acceptable. The great disappointment was the staff with the exception of one gentleman, they were poorly trained and were totally unmotivated. At breakfast they didn’t have salmon for the eggs royal so I had a bun with fried bacon, a poached egg and some sort of sauce. When we were registering I resented giving you my credit card details in case we damaged the room. I have never ever had this treatment and I have travelled all over world. I gather because I complained we were put in a small room at the far end of the top floor. Can I suggest you put the departure email wording through AI as it typifies the whole unwelcoming attitude of this building

You cancelled my reservation last minute, due to Maintenance ? which caused me a lot of inconvenience as the rest of my party had reservation with you.
You could have given me more notice.

Small bed , poor Breakfast , a rotten banana left on top of some apples, not an appetising sight. Stale bread for toasting. Full English breakfast, very average.

Tired, dirty, poor state of repair. Charged £10 for early checkin 1 hour before even though the room was ready. Went to room and although four poster premium room not of a premium standard. Sat on bed and uncomfortable and creaked and room equally tired and unclean. Decided not to stay and checked out as so bad. Worst hotel we have attempted to stay in. An extortionate rate for the calibre of property. Lost money for our stay but would not have been comfortable staying in room allocated.

It is difficult to get cabs into Diss and nearby

No staff apparently at first so didn't know what the set up was.
Cooked breakfast good. Cereal choice poor only cocopops and rice Krispies. No fruit, limited yoghurt. Coffee machine looked broken but apparently working just had no milk.
