The one member of staff who seemed to have to do everything was overworked but really competent. Cleaning staff were helpful and friendly.
Terrible policies of charging for early check in - even to simply change for a wedding. Windows didn’t open, boiling hot room, only one bedside lamp.
Good outside deck, fridge in room
No drinking water, only 1 opening window, mattress too soft
Great value and historic
Had no hot water on my last stay. And this was in a superior room
The period of it and the features
The location
On arrival, the room was full of cobwebs and dust. There was mould in the shower, and worst of all, there was poo left in the toilet.
Breakfast was o.k not a lot of choice for continental
The floor tiles in the bathroom were broken and loose and coul quite easily cut your feet. The staffing level is clearly an issue,The staff were brilliant but clearly had to many tasks to perform resulting in lengthy waiting times for customers.
Morgan was brilliant
Hot , stuffy , hot water came from cold tap . They got in a muddle over bar bill .
Accommodation was good, clean with comfortable bed and a nice ensuite. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.
Communication poor, slow wifi, low mobile signal strength and no Freeview TV. Restaurant atmosphere (Greek) could have been better, food was disappointing.
The staff / one guy on reception and bar was polite and efficient. Nice location and good car parking
Room was slightly uncomfortable. Cheap mattress which didn;t feel comfortable. Curtain did not block out light as they were not fitting to the window space. Therefore works at 4;45am. I realise this in is 400 years old, but you can get blinds / curtains that will fit the space properly and ensure guests can sleep / relax. Also, the Giros on the Greek menu needs work to make it edible.
Very quaint hotel
Good location
Available parking
Nice breakfast
The bed could have been level , we slept sloping towards our heads
The shower didn’t work, only cold coming out
The TV didn’t work apart from blue screen after trying to tune
Our other room was offered as a family room with 2 x double beds and 2 singles but had 1 of each
Lovely breakfast and clean comfy room. Near to our party that’s why we booked it.
Zeer warme kamer, moeilijk te koelen
Great facilities for money- en suite with bath, tea and coffee making facilities with loads of pods, great bath products including shampoo and conditioners, plenty plug sockets.
Unexpectedly great Greek restaurant for dinner and good breakfast.
Very helpful staff.
Lots cobwebs around the windows as lots old properties do but could have done with a once over with a duster.
V v low water pressure in the shower!
I didn’t notice but heavier spouse felt mattress was on the thin side.
Liked that it was old and had a lot of character, felt homely
Nothing
