The staff were so kind especially Elizabeth at front desk. The queen studio i stayed in was exactly as I pictured.

Hotel is in a great location only around the corner from Patrick's Street and the Cork Opera House. Staff are excellent very friendly and helpful. The room has everything you need, very modern, comfortable and well maintained. Reception and Gym areas very nice. Also a nice touch being pet friendly with water and dog treats beside the reception desk.
Absolutely nothing. Only minor critique is there is only one lift which can take awhile to arrive when its busy but it is quite big and wasn't an issue.

Chaos at reception. When we arrived we were sent to the reception of the Moxy hotel next door and told that we had been upgraded to a room in there. The room was tiny and very basically furnished, like a student's bedroom. Only seats were a stool and a cushion on the bedside table. Bathroom even smaller. Totally unacceptable.
We complained and were give a 100 euro refund.
On check out we were told that the Marriott Residence had been overbooked the previous day hence the switch to the Moxy which is clearly an inferior hotel. The nonsense about the "upgrade" was a disgrace.
I have been staying at Marriott hotels for many years and they have generally been top class, I was very disappointed to be treated like this.

It seemed expensive but then it is in the heart of the city. Parking at the Q Park opposite was very convenient but that too was expensive because of its location.

Enjoyed the stay here very much excellent room with all amenities great breakfast the hotel has free Laundry room which was very useful for us.Can recommend this hotel to all.We were driving from Dublin and was pleased to see there was a car park right cross the street from the hotel and the hotel also gave a discount for parking.cork city center is merely a 10minute walk.
