A lovely stay!
Pros:

We stayed here for a night and had a delightful stay. David was absolutely fantastic and could not have been more helpful - thank you for looking after us! Th room also had a great design, a very comfy bed and a beautiful terrace which we enjoyed with a cup of the hotel’s special coffee in the morning! The pancakes for breakfast were also a huge win.

Delightful
Pros:

I absolutely loved this hotel, it's located on a beautiful bit of beach and the grounds are fantastically presented although a little small. The staff were incredibly attentive and the food pretty good. My room - the garden view with private pool was phenomal with all doors opening up so I felt like I was living in nature.

Cons:

The room lacked a bit of privacy with staff walking past in the distance. Frozen fish was used in my dinner which I think was a bit of a shame given the location. It's fairly expensive for what it is but the sense of luxury, abundance and overall vibe justifies it.

Malgré la cadre et un personnel au petit soin, notre perception du séjour reste mitigée.
Pros:

L'emplacement au bord de la plage est rare et appréciable dans ce secteur. L'hôtel est niché dans la végétation ce qui lui donne un vrai charme.

Cons:

La chambre manque de rangement, pas d'intimité avec les sanitaires en lien direct avec la chambre. Parking compliqué. Chambre très bruyante.

L'hôtel n'est pas facile d'accès et le parking n'est pas très pratique. Petit-déjeuner correct. Accueil correct. Chambres confortables.

Cons:

Gros problème avec l'eau chaude...!!! Le rapport qualité/prix du restaurant est trop élevé.
Parking pas évident.
Le prix est trop élevé et on s'attend justement, vu le prix par nuit, à quelque chose d'exceptionnel.
Disons que c'est un peu "overrated"

Pros:

One of my favourite places during the whole Costa Rica trip! Very beautiful and stylish hotel, great beach that’s not overly crowded, delicious breakfast and top notch service. I would definitely return here!

Awā Beachfront Hotel was a calm, beautifully understated escape right on the beach in Punta Uva. Waking up to the sound of the Caribbean, jungle all around and the ocean just a few steps away created a rare sense of slowing down. The place feels intimate and thoughtful rather than resort-like — great design, excellent food, and a relaxed, adults-only atmosphere. It’s the kind of stay that quietly resets your rhythm and lets nature do most of the work.

Tolle Unterkunft für entspannte Tage an der Karibik!
Pros:

Die Lage ist wirklich einmalig. Der Strand ist sehr schön für Spaziergänge.
Am Strand sind einige bequeme Liegen (mit weichen Auflagen und Kissen).
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Gärtner hat uns am ersten Morgen sogar eine Kokusnuss gepflückt und frisch aufgeschlagen!
Und wir wurden sehr gut vom Personal versorgt, als wir leider während unseres Aufenthalts krank wurden.
Die Ausstattung der Suite ist sehr stylisch, was zu Lasten von Ablagefläche geht (das wurde schon mehrfach geschrieben).
Der Weg zur Suite führt über einen Bohlenweg durch den idyllischen Garten, in dem auch einige Tarantellöcher zu finden sind. Das fanden wir sehr spannend!
Am Strand konnten wir morgens eine Truppe Brüllaffen beobachten. Einmalig!

Cons:

Wir hatten ursprünglich das Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick gebucht. Das liegt in der ersten Etage im Hauptgebäude und ist leider etwas laut. Auch die Außenbeleuchtung stört nachts.
Wir konnten allerdings gegen einen Aufpreis für die
letzen drei Nächte in eine Suite umziehen.

Nice location on the beach but over priced.
Pros:

The proximity to the beach. The front desk staff and restaurant staff.

Cons:

Service was hit or miss. Front desk and restaurant staff were very nice. Beach staff were not very attentive. Too much emphasis on carefully curated and not enough emphasis on comfort. No sitting chairs in the room with a price tag of over $300 per night.

A Dream Come True experience!!!
Pros:

It was stunning!! Just everything was like a tropical paradise! The beach was beautiful and the cove by the rocks was a dream come true. The wildlife is lush and full!

Cons:

Everything was amazing! Maybe a bit more storage in the room.
