The staff are friendly, polite & helpful. The facility is magnificent, with very clean rooms. The restaurant and ballroom setting was so relaxing and beautiful. We really enjoyed our short stay.

recently renovated but AC was not functioning for the room I had.
Staff was not helpful even after few reminders. If they can check and fix the AC they took more than 1.5 hrs wait just for me to visit them late night to send

The noise. People banging doors, talking loudly when others are sleeping. The discomfort of the bed. Room was not clean. Staff not welcoming!

They waited for me to drive for 6 hours to arrive after booking and paying in advance to then say my room has been cancelled due to over booking, still no refund, as a repeat customer its a joke and will never be staying againg or recommending to anyone either, had to also spend a fortune to book else where last min, i want my money back
Clean, good value for money
Parking charges for staying are ridiculous. Guests should park free or at least get a discount. £10 for 24 hours is an extra cost on the room, making the cost of staying higher than yu think. Also the room keys kept unprovramming themselves so I had to keep going back to reception to get new ones
Room and bathroom was clean, service response was very poor. There was no remote for AC. Staff response was very poor, we called so many times, no answer of phone. Room was on 1st floor, no lift.

The event we attended
The stench in room, the stone hard mattress. The poor cleanliness. Buffet breatfast, hot items were all cold and had been out too Long so looked dry
The Interior was very nice.
We had to get our key card reissued three times. When we had the issue with the key card the 2nd time we had to wait at reception for almost 20 minutes for someone to come down. We had to knock on the office door but no one answered. We also asked for a late check out which was confirmed with the staff on the front desk and then we had 2 members of staff knocking on our door asking us to leave and that they were fully booked so couldn’t offer a late check out. I probably wouldn’t return to stay here due to how bad the service was.

I booked executive room but was not worth the money. Arm chair in the room broken, and room very dirty. Files on the window seal. Tv was not working. Curtains dirty. Bed bot comfortable. I wonder how the standard room will looks like

Unhelpful check in person, restaurant and bar was unavailable to residents, hotel is a bit isolated if you’re not driving.
Torn curtain , loose bathroom door knob, toiletries dish not properly attached.

Didn't like the the shower, not height adjustable for someone 5ft tall!
Breakfast wasn't great, luke warm, not well presented. Toaster needs adjusting, once, hardly done,
twice through burnt.
£10 parking charge we weren't aware of, why? It's not even close to a station!
