Cons:

J'ai réservé et garanti une chambre dans cet hôtel via Booking. À mon arrivée sur place, le personnel a refusé d'honorer ma réservation en me prétendant qu'ils "ne travaillaient plus avec Booking" et qu'ils n'avaient plus de chambres simples disponibles.

​Étrangement, ils m'ont immédiatement proposé des "suites" beaucoup plus chères pour me reloger chez eux. Sentant l'arnaque, j'ai refusé et j'ai fait une demande d'annulation gratuite sur l'application Booking... que l'hôtel a acceptée en seulement deux minutes (preuve qu'ils ont toujours parfaitement accès à la plateforme).

​Pratiques commerciales très suspectes et accueil lamentable. J'ai dû chercher un autre hôtel en urgence. Voyageurs, passez votre chemin pour éviter de vous retrouver en galère à la dernière minute !

SCAM! Do NOT book this hotel through Booking.com
Cons:

This property claims not to work with Booking.com. And the message I received before my stay, prompting me to wire money to an external platform with threats of canceling my reservation if I don’t comply, suggest a scam. I reported this to Booking, as other customers have done before me, but this doesn’t seem to trigger a reaction from their side and I hope my card won’t be charged for this fake booking.

NON PRENOTATE ATTRAVERSO BOOKING
Pros:

L’hôtel si trova in posizione perfetta nel centro di Setif, a pochissima distanza dal centro commerciale, dal parco divertimenti e dalla strada principale della città.
Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, come gli spazi comuni.
La colazione non è vastissima, ma curata.
Un aspetto molto positivo è la possibilità di pagare con la carta di credito.
Il direttore dell’hotel è molto cortese, professionale e collaborativo, ma non si può dire lo stesso del personale alla reception, piuttosto sbrigativo e brusco, che non saluta e non sorride: siamo rimasti molto male per il comportamento delle persone alla reception, sopratutto perché gli Algerini in generale - al contrario - sono molto simpatici e socievoli.

Cons:

Come già sottolineato in altre recensioni, il grande problema di questo hotel è che non esiste nessun collegamento tra l’hotel e Booking, come ci ha confermato il gentilissimo direttore dell’hotel.
Abbiamo prenotato attraverso Booking, ma la prenotazione non risultava all’hotel.
È paradossale che Booking consenta la prenotazione e dia visibilità all’hotel, ma poi la prenotazione risulti inesistente.
Quindi è ASSOLUTAMENTE NECESSARIO fare la prenotazione direttamente con l’hotel, e NON ATTRAVERSO BOOKING. Tuttavia, è piuttosto difficile comunicare con l’hotel: noi abbiamo ricevuto risposta solo attraverso Facebook.
Inoltre, è essenziale prenotare in anticipo perché l’hotel è spesso al completo.
L’assistenza di Booking nella gestione del problema della prenotazione è stata pari a zero: è davvero vergognoso che il servizio clienti di Booking si limiti a mandare dei messaggi automatici.
Il personale alla reception è piuttosto scortese e non collaborativo: davvero un peccato per una struttura di questo livello.

Good choice for a short stay in Setif
Pros:

Excellent position (15 min walk to the museum - main reason of our stay in Setif, 15 min walk to the Ain Foura fountain, 10 min walk to Park Shopping Mall). Good breakfast (like elsewhere in Algeria, mostly sweet fare). Reasonably quiet in spite of the amusement park right across the street. Clean. Big room with large bathroom. Kind and helpful staff - they were able to find the car with the driver for the excursion to Djemila and for continuing our trip to Constantine at a very reasonable price.

Cons:

The room is too dark, slow WiFi, squeaking door of the shower cabin.
