Could do better for the price charged
Pros:

I was home for an event in the hotel so being able to simply go upstairs was great. The Eden room was lovely.

Cons:

We opted for breakfast upon check-in and had it the first morning we were there. We were surprised that for the price of the room (expensive by any standard) did not include breakfast but we paid €30 for the 2 of us. We asked for coffee and were presented with disgusting instant coffee, another rip off when we’d paid €15 each. The avocado on toast was bland. We had to go to one of the local coffee shops to get better coffees and food (another cost to us). We live in London so are used to high prices but what we were charged for a 2 night stay in Drogheda was a surprise. I do understand the economics of supply and demand and that the price is likely driven by supply in the town, but it simply didn’t feel value for money given the smallness of the room, lack of lift, poor quality of breakfast and coffee.

Great hotel with a lovely pub and Italian opposite. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic hotel, great location
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and such a fantastic location. Close to everything.

Cons:

No lifts, which wasn't a concern for me but if you had luggage or a walking aid this may be a problem.

Great, central location
Pros:

Perfect location, very central. Staff were lovely. Place was spotless.

Cons:

Other guests were a bit noisy. Hallway doors could do with a soft close to stop banging.
The shower in our room stopped working after a minute, no water no matter what I tried. Other taps were fine. Apologies, I never mentioned this at check out.

Great hotel and location.
Pros:

Lovely modern clean room.

Cons:

You can hear noise from other guests and when music is on downstairs. It didn’t spoil it though.
